in todays other irish league news Gary Hamilton continues to pick up £700 a week whilst being told by the manager he will never play for glentoran again.

Think Curtis Allen is a great signing for Coleraine, was impressed with him when he played against Coleraine for Distillery and he had a great goalscoring record for them. Just didn't seem to work out for him at Linfield but he still had a decent enough goalscoring record and in my opinion is probably a better player than Boycey is. Think what is important though is who Oran signs to play up top with him, as we have no options as of present. We have signed a wee guy from Linfield who is from Ballycastle, Shane Jennings but I have never seen him play and not sure whether he is ready to play in the Premiership.
Interesting to see Aaron Black go to Ballymena, never really worked for him at Coleraine, always getting injured or suspended, then when he did play he was struggling for form. I think he was on good money so it made sense to get rid of him.
Have you guys heard anything about Rory Patterson coming back to the Irish League?

Kearney taught Jennings i believe at Cross & Passion in Ballycastle, he took him to Limavady on loan and i think he finished top scorer for them. He is big and strong for a kid and also played for the N Ireland schools side. I think this could work well as the kid lives in Ballycastle and gets on well with Kearney. |

Oooooh and in other Irish league news linfields famous supporter jeff as it turns out is originally a bufc fan.  Was never a fan davy but I did attend a few games. We do these things when we are young I know one glentoran fan who was pictured in a linfield top receiving his birthday cake A great example of me feeding ur friend with False info knowing he was goin running back to u. But it's no shame in jumping ship from ballymena to linfield. We tad of glory hunting I suspect. |
