Played for Morton last season in the Scottish 1st div. 6ft 2 midfielder. 2nd top goalscorer for them as well. thought GOD didnt want any lads from JOckland travelling over for games etc........... strange 1 He is basically Cutchy's best mate and they will travel together. Hell of a signing for us. Done two year deal. Was on the Morton forum and they rate him very highly and said he was the heart-beat of their team.

Pepe talking out of his arse as usual. Sure doesn't McCutcheon live in Jockland. Just make sure your Glentoran keep giving the donkeys like Gibson 3 year deals. By all accounts the Morton fans were sorry to see Jenkins go and I look forward to him starring in our usual win at the Oval this season.

Club dealt with the whole thing in the wrong manner. I have heard that umbro tried to get a petition passed for a winding up order which was dismissed and that the debt is to be repaid. But tbh I dont think it's that serious. As along as glentoran keep their young quality players and try to improve their squad with quality like Carson and Boyce we will be grand.

In fairness, Umbro have saved a fortune recycling last seasons linfield kit, and passing it off as this years Rangers home kit

Tbh I'm not sure what the new kit will be like I just no there was a big sale on last weekend which usually mean either a change of make or a change of club sponsor. I assumed the maker.

Have to say and this isn't a dig at linfield or Alan blayney as he had a smashing season and was voted ulster player of the year as sponsored by castlereagh glentoran supporters club.
But I really don't think he is good enough for our wee country.

This is the thing wi big blayney, he seems to take time to settle. When he came to ballymena it looked like he'd never done nets before, was throwing them in all over the place. But they stuck wi him n he proved his worth. Am sure simpo will vouch for that.
He was the same when he came to the blues. Maybe its getting used to the players in front of him I duno. Sadly time is one thing he won't have. Sadly I'd say thats him done wi NI now which is a pity cuz I know first hand how good he is. Made a smashing reflex save in the 2nd half

Blayney is simply a class act and IMO the most professional footballer to play in the IL currently. His attitude towards himself and the game is outstanding. He was a shambles when he first arrived at Ballymena and got dropped. He then got brought back in when he was seen fit to be and it was like a new signing. He saved us about 12 points that season and if it was not for him we could have been near the relegation battle. Even when Blayney knew he was for Linfield after signing the pre-contract he was brilliant for us and playing his heart out every game. I think in years to come he will give camp a good run for his money, IMO to that however he will need to back across the water. He is likely happy to stay with Linfield for a brave while now with being their captain and winning medals.

Have to agree with previous two posts. Hopefully not win too many medals though lol.
I was at the award do and he spoke very well and was very gracious.

Good signing for coleraine better than boyce imo Tbf they are two different types of players but I'm sure Allen is more if a replacement for knight than Boyce.

on a less happy note kenny shields has got the killie job and it seems thats were ribs good now be headin. Looking like we could lose both him and mulgrew now and both for nothing which makes it harder to swallow.
