....every game from now til the end of the season is a big game.
The squad we're getting together is really starting to show quality throughout. Massive boost for everyone at Broadway in the race for what will be a fantastic achievement for whoever lifts the 2nd division title. Lots of quality teams this year and a credit to all involved in this race. It will go to the wire!!!
Cheers Farmbhoy, I'm training harder than ever, if I don't I'll have no chance of playing and that was even my attitude before the new arrival. Serious competition and thankfully I'm starting to see slight improvement in my own fitness. We all need to knuckle down and work harder than ever!!!
Hail Hail....

Think you boys wanted it more Pele, you won every 2nd ball - wish we had taken our chances, but in all honesty we both had enough chances to make it 8-8.
Who said your new signing wasnt fit, thank feck we wont have to play him when he is, he was different class.

Thought Fish done well too, but didnt want to put it on the Forums, we'll never hear the end of it - he gets stick on here about his fitness, but looked nothing wrong with him today.
We tried something different today formation wise and it took us a while to get used to it, but as i told our boys that performance would get us 3 points against most other teams

This was a smashing result against a very strong Shore side. I do think we deserved to be 2 up when we were (really just because as Donko says we were first to every second ball and looked dangerous going forward. Although they missed a few chances) but after the break Shore seemed a different team and piled on a bit of pressure.
Really hope Brian stays fit, super player with a super brain for the game. Really enjoyed playing (football LOL) with him!!
Some boys also played "out of position" as it's called. Big Sexton on right wing put in a super shift and played well. Tom Agnew also at right back, once he settled, adapted really well.
Also magic to see THAT partnership of Donald and Michael in the centre together again. They'd only played a few games there last season before Don broke the leg, which I felt cost Broadway division one status, and I thought at the time that they were an unreal pairing. Here's to a long partnership, two great players in the heart of the team.
All I have to do is get as fit as Brian and we're laughing!! lol...
Good luck for the season Shore, a good team and a super bunch of lads!!!!
P.s, what about yer mano with the beer and crutch combo doing the "gooooooooal Lazio" style cheer for the Shore goal. Legend!!!!

We played Broadway at start of season and think they were the strongest team we have played against. After todays match would have to say they are even stronger than 6 months ago. Each of them looked comfortable on the ball but more impressive is that they played as a unit and knew what each other was going to do with the ball. Rarely gave the ball away, very sharp in midfield, clinical up front and defensively I thought they were outstanding.
We had a couple of boys out but not an excuse as we were beaten by better team - no complaints.
No doubt they will get promoted and if they keep that team for the first division they will comfortably be top half.
Good luck Broadway but don't think yous need it.
