As stated earlier in the season Edel Tonic would no longer be sponsoring the BSML and that the sponsorship of the League for this season would be taken over by the Montgomery family for this year only!!
But as of yesterday the League was able to obtain new sponsors from Tower Blinds Ballymena, under the ownership of Ryan Kenny and John Reynolds. They have agreed to sponsor the League for this season and the following season!! the League are very grateful to both Ryan and John for offering their sponsorship in the current financial climate!!

That Captain Mannering comparison is brilliant!  I had reservations about the montgomery family picking up the pieces after losing the league sponsorship, I didnt think it was fair and I thought it was an unhealthy position that the league had found itself in. A new Sponsor has been found and thankfully things can go back to normal now |

Reason behind not wanting to get a sponsor was because it was halfway through the season!! Glad Tower Blinds offered to sponsorship though as I think the BSML being how big it is deserves a major sponsor!! |

A new Sponsor has been found and thankfully things can go back to normal now I think it was very big of the Montgomerys to step in and help us out....I don't think there were many other takers!! Think Monty's been running this league longer than I've been eating burgers so there was never going to be a problem IMO...I agree though that it maybe wasn't fair on them having to do it and for me that is further cause for applause to them for doing so!! |
