Well deserved 3 points for the Mich tonight against a good St Comgalls team.
Started the game off pretty well and after 15 minutes we started to dominate the game,we had a brave few chances but were unable to take any of them, infact dont think their keeper had a save to make. In good old Michelin fashion we condeded against the run of play right on half time when Fergie scored from 6 yards after the ball was knocked back to him.
2nd half we started off well again, got a dodgy enough penalty for handball which Wiggsy scored from after a one two with the keeper. Wasnt a dirty game at all but St Comgalls then had a man sent off for a second yellow for flying in late for a tackle, stupid challange when your on a yellow already. We then scored two in the last 15 minutes with 2 super headers from big Sexy after great balls in from Tommy and Sammy McCullough.
Good to get a second win in a row and hopefully get a wee bit of confidence back again cause we played really well at times tonight. Think Fish has one more game to serve and then he's back if we can sneak into the play off's as well which will be a bonus.
Man of match tonight for me would have been Tommy McCullough, he was unplayable at times. Ive said it before, if he could get consistancy into his game he'd be as good as Roger Jones, Alan Rainey in the league.

Is that play offs confirmed mitty? Think alot of depends if you lads win the 3 points from Dunloy game mate. Think were 7 points ahead of Dunloy , they have 3 to play and we have 2. If they lose them points then were in or if not we have to beat Shore or the towers to make sure. To be honest I hate the play off's, If you win them you get a great weekend out but give me automatic promotion any day of the week  |

Couple years ago the play offs were us, Templepatrick, Braid and Riverdale (I think), I was certain we were going to win them as easy as f**k, TFC beat us 2-1 in the semi's and then beat Braid 3-0 in final. We should have walked those play off's but one bad game f**ked it up. This season there will be you lads, Waveney, St Comgalls and either ourselves or Dunloy. Im sure every team will fancy there play off's but there wont be one easy game out of any of them. As I say, give me automatic promotion everytime  |

Well done tonight gents, beat a good and well organised St Comgall's team tonight.
Two super headers from big Sexton to wrap up the points and push the side towards the playoffs!!

If I'm not wrong I think westend need 4 points from fc Antrim and cullybacky. And with no disrespect to either team, I think they will go away with all 6. So play offs for us |

The path ahead of us is clear and dangerfree We plan to give Carniny a stern seeing to in the Cup semi on Sat then lower Shore's Champion colours next midweek. That only leaves us the playoffs to meander through and a silly little Cup final to win. And we're good at them - ask Connor. Simples!!! |
