First fixture of the season on Tuesday night against Riverdale at wakehurst in the O'Kane Cup.
Good tie for us to get us settled in before us first league game on Thursday.

Yes as usual Brian isn't having much luck with injury. It would be nice to see him get some luck with it.
We're lucky at present to have plenty of other quality options to deal with it!!

hamstrings just tight after playin 90 the other nite an not trainin much the last while,
i wouldnt of ever been playing on tue anyway so its not a prob,
just hope i get a game with brett gavin an the fish scoring for fun lol

Riverdale 0-8 Broadway Celtic
A brilliant start to the season played some lovely football at times and went 6 nil up at half time to there credit Riverdale came at us in 2nd half and had nothing to lose played some nice stuff thereselves, We managed to get another 2 late on but i think we definatley got sloppy 2nd half so plenty to work on.
Nice to start way a clean sheet too.

A poor overall performance from us but passed it well in spells definatley need to be more clinical in the final third to get anywhere this season.
Great to see Gavin get his first hattrick for us im sure it wont be his last.

he was with larne fc few years back ot sure if it was reserves or firsts or under 18's , he had phone calls from killeyleagh and larne tech old boys they were lookin to sign him up after playin them pre season there . but he,s an inver yin at heart. HANDS OFF LADS lol
