Connor play Carnlough on Saturday. So something has to give there.
However, we need to pick ourselves up and go again and worry about our own performances.
I thought we battered them second half from start to finish. They were always very dangerous on the break though and we contributed to our own downfall.

Some win with the squad down to the bare bones! 3 points are all that matters at this point in the season, huge bit of luck with our winning goal but I think we are def due a bit of luck for a change. If we had had taken our chances against Ahoghill we really would be sitting pretty but suppose mustn't dwell on past games! Look forward to the visit of the league champions on Tuesday night (cup). If only we had a big squad then we could put out our carling cup team...few tired boys in the Clough camp. Harty didn't even know what day it was after the final whistle y'day! Fatigue setting in!  |

Still a serious amount of work to do. Gonna talk a hell of a lot to stay up, but there's still plenty of winnable games left. Just gotta keep plugging away.
Good win yesterday. 2nd half was a struggle, was totally running on empty. Was certain little pea had missed the winner!

You managed to step it up towards the end of last season if memory serves me right and won your promotion.
To be honest I heard the thing that drove yese on wasn't to get promoted but so that you would have a reason to go to the League Dinner and then on to the Grouse with yer auld mates from Broadway Celtic to help us celebrate our league success..... ;D ;D ;D
Keep plugging away fella's, it still defo possible!!

According to NI football we face the Homers this thursday night. Hopefully whilst we play carnimy on tesday a few results go our way!
Not a good time to face the homers after a reslt they would regard as being embarassing, they will be loookig to get back into it.
We know what we need to do

Two centre halves were particularly outstanding on Saturday in a super team performance. Simpo made a hell of a save at 1-1 each with his face, pure fluke right enough. I thought we probably just shaded the game over the 90minutes and deserved our victory. Big thanks to Ricey and Stewartie who showed real commitment on Saturday. We now move on to a massive quarter final on Tuesday nite. Lets go and give it our best shot. |
