Thought we deserved our win, wasn't the prettiest of games but the result was the important thing. Need to build on this and keep the momentum going! All the best to northend in their last few games.
To say u would beat us at your place is irrelevant, we've played you there and beat you. Bit fed up of hearing about the pitch...we know it's poor, everyone that plays on it knows it's poor, just gotta get on with it. Same conditions for both sides.

Thats why he pointed to the centre circle the minute it came down off the bar you. ;D ;D Thursdays game could be in doubt with the rain thats fell. Lets hope its relatively dry between now and Thursday. On the game itself, I thought we went through the motions for long periods and there would need to be a big improvement for Thursday. However, in our position points are more important than performance. |

Second half was an improvement but we never really got out of first gear. |

There was heavy rain last night and giving raing tomorrow as well. |

Absolutely gutted after that defeat. First half was shockin scrappy, we took ages to come to terms with their shape. 2nd half I thought we bossed it, really did. We just couldn't cope with the wee mans pace up front for them. He was as quick as I've seen, tore us to shreds. At 2-2 we probably should have made more of an attempt to hold what we had but went a bit to gung ho.
But, can't feel sorry for ourselves. Results have went our way, so have to pick ourselves up and get a result Saturday.

took this game in2nite .. cloughs shape was everywere , rovers missed and open net  then simpo pulled of a good save ... rovers front 3 caused problems all nite ... clough went up 1nil ... then simpo flapped at a cross .. u need 2 b stronger simpo 1 1 all cloughs corners were won by wee junior all nite . wasted .... clough shaded 2nd half ... kyle hit a cracker , top corner . boomba got 2 it .. great save . ;D rovers pacey front 3 gave mcloy and stewartie a hard time ... head up lads .... |

I'd say Abbeyview are most definately safe now, if we can manage to win on saturday then Carnlough and Connor can definately be caught. Far too nervous last night and took us the whole first half to get to grips with their formation. We also found it hard dealing with the pace of monkey logan, has to be one of the fastest in the league. Second half we were by far the better team and if it wasn't for boomba we would have won that game. Still 3 poor goals we conceded and as usual our finishing let us down. |
