TBH i dnt know wat all the fuss about chimpy is,seen him a few times this year and wldnt even be in my top 5 strikers in the 1st divison??? He's maybe getting on a wee bit now but when Chimpy is on form I cant think or anybody better ( BTW I wouldnt call him an out and out striker llike Dowie) |

Tbh i didnt think chimpy done alot last nite & thought we coped well with him. Still scored the winner though ffs Done nothing at all bar what he done in the last minute, but at the end of the day that one kick and extra 2 points could be the difference between winning the league or not. Can beleive they play Budgie at right back, complete waste. By the way Db you were the best player on the park by quite a bit last night  |

dowie might be twice the player, but chimpy is still a good player. Different types of players lads. Dowie is the best finisher in the league by a mile, but I dont think theres many better footballers on their day than Chimpy, although he was poor last night. |

Lyness was immense last night and has been all year, IMO (albeit a biased one) he deserves player of the year for the first division.

big lyness n tully won everythin in air last nite i think the homers lacked that aerial ability in centre mid but kept battlin its always tight between the two teams and could of went either way.

Tul is a smashing player and can read the game so well,good to see the plaudits from his fellow ASOB players. Sometimes the workhorses are forgot about in favour of the Keeper or forwards.
