Sat wasn't ideal preparation to be fair but in our form a win and a few goals aint to be sniffed at!

4-1 defeat
Carniny rushed into a 2 goal lead in the opening 20 mins or so. Some of the football they played in the first half hour was by far the best I've seen all season, super stuff and we struggled to cope. We had a man go off injured and had to re-organise and finally settled down abit and pulled one back when mallet pinged one into the top corner just before the half.
Second half I felt we were well on top, hit the post and bar but otherwise failed to create anything of note. With about 20 to go Carniny scored a cracker, we even applauded it and then with time running out they hit the bar before matching our first half goal with another top corner finish from distance.
All in all we battled well but against the quality of Carniny that ain't enough and they gained another 3 points!
Was going to rant about the ref, who was terribly in inconsistent all night, but no point as it didn't affect the result.
Next up - Carniny away (again)

Think he got the first, can't remember if he added to it or not.
Played ok, seemed abit frustrated second half as the ball wasn't get to him as much. His movement off the ball is superb

The under 12s next door would have out up a better Performance than us today, utter disgrace. Sacking offence for me definitely.
Nothing much more to say on the subject....good bunch of lads at Carniny, no gloating etc.
Ps dowie, I told ye u wouldn't get your hat-trick. Cocky- well played, dont get too dizzy playin that high up the field in future. Good to meet ye's both properly
