Plus half the team start on the 'shut down' at kilroot next week which means 12 hr shifts x 7 days a week for 3 odd months = no football...!
Won't even make midweeks myself, just about get home from work for home kick offs!

we beat wakurst 1-4 last week an should ave been more and there big defender went off injured b4 half time with a dislocated knee,(there best def prob)!their goal keeper is a big fella so all our goals were hit low and he'd not a chance. a bit of info for ya if its any help!!

Carnlough Swifts 7-1 Wakehurst Ath
Decent enough first half, they never got a sniff at all. We created a few chances, going in 2-0 up after cracking the bar a couple of times. Second half wakehurst took the game to us in opening 10 odd mins without creating anything. We eventually scored a 3rd and then it was game over adding another 4. Wakehurst got a consolation from a pen with last kick of the match.
With the silly list of of injuries we have at the min had the luxury of leaving few boys on bench/ out of squad for once. With all due respects to wakehurst, tougher tasks lie ahead with a double daunter away to Carniny this week!
