Homers through on pens!
Heard this was a real cracker match. Homers had a few new faces in the squad.
Anyone no the scorers for both sides?
Homers for the league?
What's happened carniny from last season?

Dowie scored both for carniny...rainey and ricky nicholl for homers.
Dont think much has happened to carniny...lost wee moo whos awesome and likely rodger and chris leaving and coming back has likely unsettled them a bit...there also missing a few at the min. Homers have got stronger too, signed alot of cracking players like budgie and the likes and with what they already had they are really strong. In saying that i heard there was nothing between the two sides today as the match ending in pens probably suggests.

I dunno, I think homers will clean up this year. Not just the 1st 11 is great but the whole squad is quality.
Ricky nicholl, that his debut?

Ricky Nicholl played last week against us, ran the show...hell of a player. Homers squad is scary this year, they'll be hard to stop

Homers starting with boys like Rainey,Nicholl,Budgie,McNeill,Chimpy & Bonnesy.. Sooty even sittin on the bench. Just shows ya the squad they have. Was a great game to watch.

Tight game. Carniny better in the first half as the Homers were pretty quiet up front, but the Homers had the better of the second half. Dowie played through to score early on and then in the second half Ricky Nicholl scored a screamer from 25-30 yards.
1-1 at full time, then the Homers got an early goal in extra time and Carniny and the Homers had chances, then Carniny started to push men up late on in the second period of extra time to gdet the equaliser and got one in the last minute to send it to penalties.
Homers scored all theirs and Carniny missed their first two so always playing catch up but the Homers kept on scoring. Ended 4-1 on pens.

would like to win the league this year and think its quite possible i think we can beat carniny in league game just need to keep pluggin away against teams expected to win against yes they ave players out etc but so do we and still ave a squad that any team would be grateful to have. Was crackin match n fairplay to carniny they never give up.
