Hopefully we will maybe get a game for a change this week! Tough game. Connor tore us apart in the first 45mins away back first day of the season and were mighty impressive. Our reserves played out at Connor on sat past and said pitch was in super nick. Big game ahead and like every game from now on in points are a must!

Match off and (another) wasted journey this morning.
Alot of unhappy campers this morning, myself included.
Won't hold my breath for an explanation for not being informed of the postponement sooner.

Is indeed. According to the groundsman he informed Connor @ 8.15am that the game was off. We arrived around 9.30/9.40am so why someone hasn't made a phone call between times is beyond me.

teams should be fined for not informing the other team? thats statement is brutal!!
the council called the match off not us, we informed monty that the council had called it off...so then obviously assuming use would have been told by the league.

as far as i was aware its the job of the home team to inform the league and the other team of a calling off but i could well be wrong but thats always how we have operated.

It's the job of the home team to inform the league AND the opposing team of any postponement. Whether it's a council pitch or a private one means not a thing.
