I was hungover over bale Rory didnt get starting to often, he started a few games. he was playing central midfield and there was competition from M. Watson (BSML Div 3 Player of the year 2009/10) G. McIlroy (BSML Div 3 Player of the year 2008/09) A Kilpatrick (Signed from Portstewart), Kipper (Signed from Blackstone, Squiggs (who had a great season last year) to name but a few, there is big competition for places at our place. Big Dave Currie is just coming back from Injury, he has scored something like 160 goals in 150 games for Westend since 2003 I think. We've missed him for most of the season, if he can get fit for the midweeks it will be like a new signing for us |

aye rorys a good player though he'll tell you himself that it has been quite hard for him getting used to playing 11 aside football having played mostly 5 aside etc.
Was a bit of a shock when he told me about his injury, thought originally it was one of those self diagnosis!
Glad to hear he's on the mend now after his op so he'll be back hopefully for pre season!

Sure Chelsea were playing man utd last Tuesday and I went to training. I told cussy at the start of the year the only time I'll miss football training is when Chelsea are playing in the later stages of the CL, the next round if we make it! One of those games will fall on a tues

Sold out completely for the sake of a sandwich or two from the Blackstone. Never thought I'd see the day where a Westend shirt would have blackstone written over it. I hear theres a revolt among the WAFA crew already. Rumours of a Gold and Navy skin tight campaign starting. Mechandise sales will take a hit. Going to need more of Rab's 'creative' acounting to get the books to balance. |
