Just thought I would start a thread about the Super Leeds. A team that has had many successful years and in recent times have seen them at a very low.....however, they are everyones second club and will bounce back to the premiership very soon.
Great players like Snodgrass (Snoddy) and Howsen we will be back big time...

got a feeling we could be quite lonely on this thread steeks ;D
hopefully your right anyhow, championship is a nightmare to get out of...i honestly didnt think leeds would do as well as they have this year so the way things are going at present, id gladly take a play-off spot finishing 6th. Not good enough for automatic promotion, don't have the squad IMO...but do believe we'll grace the premier league sooner rather than later.

They have a good keeper in Schmeichel, couple of good midfielders in Howson Snodgrass and Kilkenny, but can't seeBecchio scoring in premier league. Has Kisnorbo returned from his knee injury yet?

I think kisnorbo is back training donko, how far on he is i dont know. Couple of good young players throughout the squad like you say but absolutely agree with you, we dont have an out an out goal scorer like beckford was for us last season, thats why i'm surprised we're sitting sixth at the minute but i suppose it's a good sign when players from around the team are all chipping in. I reckon the likes of a kevin phillips would be a great signing. |

Have to believe they will get back to premiership. O'Brien has settled us at the back but miss kisnorbo...he was excellent againt Man U last year. He will be back in 8 weeks Im told... ;D
The real problem is that Bates will not spend the dosh....he wont take chances and pay the big wages...I do see his point, but lok at Leicester...have brought in Premiership players with Premiership wages....they will be close for me.
We have a good keeper, love McCartney and O'Brien, Love Snoddy Howse and Kilkenny...Somma has potential, Nunez is an unknown quantity and could be a hit. Need to sign 4 or 5 Premiership player to stay up or even to get us up.

Is it still the knee injury from this time last year. Gutted to hear he would miss the world cup, never nice to hear that about anyone (except Ian wright in 98, that was hilarious)

United have strolled through the game tonight at a canter...they really are playing some great football at the minute. |
