That's a shocking stat. We miss Lucas badly in there. Spearing, shelvey, Henderson and adam jus don't cut it. Hopefully there will be a clear out in the summer and some quality brought in. Preferably a natural goal scorer to partner Suarez and a creative midfielder.

I'm not saying I think KD should stay, but I think the old look how much he has spent argument is getting a bit thin. What most people don't realise is that his net spend is £38m when taking all sales and purchases into account. That is not an outrageous figure in terms of the other spenders in the league like any of the top 5/6. What is most impressive is that he has reduced the wage bill by a staggering £30m per season by flogging all the deadwood (although he could be flogging some more ) Also in my opinion, our squad is actually stronger than it was being he came in, but for a number of reasons, we have had a diabolic season. Some signings have been woeful and will improve and other have been woeful and won't! What is for sure is that whoever is in charge next season, it will not be as bad as this one.

Could anyone guess who has made the most tackles out of all the liverpool midfielders this season? Unbelievably he has been our best player last season and this until he got injured. When I heard he was out for the season, I knew straight away we would struggle without him. Iwas one of his worst critics for the first few years at the club, but Rafa unveiled a gem in Lucas and just hope he comes back as good

Did Rafa not play him as a attacking midfielder?

Ive heard that a few times about NET spending. The Bottom line is hes spent huge money on complete duds. If i was a pool fan i wouldnt want the board to give him another penny.

Very good post agree with almost all of that. I could be wrong but I think KD along with DC identify players, I doubt KD has much input into how much Liverpool pay for the players. Agree also with what others have said allowing Clarke to take on press conferences until the end of the season would be a good move just to take the heat off for a while
