Great to get ahead but I fear the worst in the 2nd, ronaldo against rafa wasn't getting much joy even tho rafa has been more, moves over to evra.. 2 mins later goal.. Tho ronny wound of out jumped anyone for that goal.

Cant believe that ref tonight  an keano 2 nani didn't know arsebola was there, wonder if keano thought he suda got a red for hitting evra on the knee  thought United defended well tonight, an although Madrid got in dangerous areas on occasion, they didn't trouble De gea, until the game changer! Modric changed the game, upped the tempo then.scored a worldie, but we had a brave few.good chances after that, gutted to go out but we can.hold r heads high, MUTID |

I can't help but agree with keane! I know that referee has cost us? BUT it was a dangerous attempt to get the ball, weather he knew the other player was there or not..!I don't think any other referee would of have that, until then I thought we would have sneaked it, the ref cost us but by the letter of the law (right or wrong) it was the right decision. Keane is right.

Rafael got away with one. Evra should also have had a pen late on..
Keane just loves to go against the grain and be controversial.
If Arbeloa wasnt there and Nani pulls that out of the sky, the crowd cheer and he is praised for a Berba-esk touch. He never seen the player coming, it's a foul at most imo. Up until then I believe we would have got through. GUTTED

Towards the end of last season, with Michelin, I played against Clough and contolled the ball twice, exactly like that...hoofed from defense and sailing over my head, watching the ball the whole way. Luckily there were no defenders in front of me. The second time both my feet left the ground. After the match the ref approached me and praised me for both lol (that's was about all I did the whole game right enough lol)!! Seriously unfortunate and personnally I don't think it's a red. As for Roy claiming you have to be aware...maybe but come on, clearly going for the ball. |
