Celtic's shameful performances are helpful in showing how good Manchester Utd have been over the years. To consistently give it everything in Europe year after year and still be able to challenge for/win a competitive league says it all.
Look at the other English clubs that reached European finals in the modern game. Each of them gave up on the League months from the end and kept their A team for the midweeks.

Any1 else think Anderson should get more starts or is he always gonna be used as a sub ? I think any game he's played this season he has looked very sharp.

He was outstanding. I think fergie might be reluctant to play him too much as he consistently picks up injuries and isnt fit. Maybe an injury free few months, more match fitness, half a stone weight lost and imo he has the ability to be one of Europes best

Have given up on many a Utd player after giving them countless chances for redemption (so wanted Berbatov to shine but he simply didn't fit the plan) Anderson is one I will not give up on. He is the only midfield player at Utd who always wants to go forward and will attempt to beat a man. Tell Scholes and Giggs to announce their retirement and go while we have fond memories and put your faith in Anderson/Cleverly etc for a year. Let's see Anderson start 5 in a row and see what consistent games do for him. Look at Pogba. Playing consistently at Juve. Fergie said he was disappointed the boy left but when Pogba saw Scholes come out of retirement last year he just said f**k it I'm off |

Agree with you there bap.
I Rooney and Cleverley link up so well to ya know, should play them more, good to see we are having different goal scorers today as well instead of relying on the Dutch man.
Also how important has Jonny Evans become for us?

Definitely agree Dowie
Evans was another I wondered about this past two seasons as he had a really poor spell so could he recover?. Now I'm happy to see him in the team each week plus he's a threat in the oppo box at set pieces. His performance against Portugal for NI was incredible and he's now doing it for his club.
