Phil Jones apparently having a medical at man u, thoughts and views lads? haven't seen much of him but he played well against united, think he played a few times in centre mid for blackburn, could he be deployed as a DM? I can't see him getting much game time at CB if Rio and Vidic r fit, but i suppose Rio is always injured ffs ;D good signing imo and great 2 beat the scum 2 his signature  |

Morrison is a man not 2 b f**ked with harty, pleaded guilty to witness intimidation not so long ago ;D think he plays on the wings tho, good things coming out of OT about him1! Cleverley will hopefully make an impact, i was impressed with him last pre season, thought he mighta got a crack, but a year away at Wigan has brought him on even more. Apparently young is signing aswell, still think he needs 2 bring in a world class CM, nice 2 c the glazers spendning some doe all the same

Time for Evans to knuckle down and work hard. he has to take his chance when it comes and try and work his way up the pecking order again. I fear he could go to Sunderland now though.  |

Superb signing if complete. Another top draw defender into the ranks. Jonny Evans is a top 6 defender by all accounts but jones and smalling are a different class. Will be interesting to see the game time they get next year

Yes I agree, i fear that's it for evans Smalling and jones defo long term replacements for rio and vida. Just hope they don't get fed up waiting a 2/3 years on the last of rio, would say he could 3 more seasons if he stays fit |

Evans to back up evra on the left from wat i hear, fergie says he still has high hopes for him.
Jones deal sorted today after the scum had a cheeky wee 22 million bid i think, but the lad has taste and had his heart sets on the champions. :-)
If young signs i still think we need a central creative midfielder, hopefully de gea signs that will be GK sorted and we have 5 good strikers there we just lack a spark in the middle, if we get this we could be a force for years to come, fergie building yet another team!

Looks like Young in.....not so sure about him.....mate is a big Villa fan and says he actually doesn't contribute as much to assists as Downing and he rarely hits the Target with free-kicks

Slightly surprised at this signing. With Valencia, Nani and Park United have plenty of widemen.
They are in more need of a central midfielder and goalkeeper. That may come though.

I read somewhere park was thinking of moving on. Possibly, he's 31 i think and maybe wants to move back home..... i just think Valencia, Nani and Young are very similiar while Park is alot different, more hard working so i'd say Fergie will try to keep him! |

I thought nani had the most assists last year. (could be wrong though).
Young will be a great signing imo, very exciting player. Can play wide and in behind the striker. Looking forward to seeing him play for us.
