Weather permitting a big 6 pointer in store!
Finally got a long awaited win on Saturday past which, regardless of opposition, was a nice wee boost (no disrespect intended to galgorm btw).
Will be a totally different game from last time we met and and with a host of players unavailable for one reason or another she will be a toughie!
But in my absence this week I still believe my trusted side-kick will lead the boys to all 3 points! ;D

Honestly can't see it being on, might go out to the pitch in a while and see what it's like but that rain i'd say will have killed off any hope.

I'm told the pitch is playable at present.
I think we should be good to go in the morning provided there's not a total onslaught this evening.

I think they've learnt to swim out there Goram.
They're pretty fast at the running too to get away from Simpo, Harty and the rest of the Sky Blue men.

5-2
Good victory on an awful pitch.
5-0 up and then stopped. Goals Byers 3 (3 Pens) Rice 1 Leighton 1
Pitch took a real hammering. next week must be in serious doubt already.

well deserved win for us today wat about that volley that hit the bar by the carnlough number 8...some strike

Wasn't there today and yet to hear what happened bar when it was 2-0.
Regardless of Players missing, in a game other teams would have asked to call off, I'm very disappointed.
But by looks of things the scoreline doesnt lie so well done clough, good bunch of fellas

I thought we played really well for 75 mins today then when Carnlough had a man sent off we totally stopped which wasn't acceptable, should have had a clean sheet but 2 ridiculous goals given away.
Can't complain too much though, 3 points was all we needed and we took them so thats the most important thing! Harty and Megaw i thought were excellent today, and great work from Husty and Jordy up front... anyone notice McNeill wasn't there?! ;D ;D
Pitch will never be playable next saturday after the hammering it took today!
Fair play to Carnlough too for playing the game with players missing, good bunch of lads too and all the best for the rest of the season!

Husty and Jordy were superb today upfront. Great work rate, showed for the ball, linked up with the midfield brilliantly. Norty and Megaw looks like a very promising partnership at the back. Definitely makes us look more solid.

Pitch didn't help in the fact that we "switched off". I think on a good surface we would have won by an even more comfortable scoreline. That's no disrespect to Carnlough by the way, just thought we were very good and very ''hungry yesterday'! Not too get carried away by some of the football was outstanding at times. If we can keep that team together for a few years we'll make progress. Granda Harty is the oldest in that team! Ps Byers...I do hope you realise your penalty duties were a one off yesterday

Ps Byers...I do hope you realise your penalty duties were a one off yesterday would agree clough were value for the win, ther hunger all over the field was more evident from the first whistle and some of the football played on that surface was very impressive... duno if im being unreasonable but think the ref gave us very little. i appreciate the 3 penalties u got could have resulted in more than one man getting sent off but in the end it likely wudnt hav changed the result. just feel he let too many things go. duno if all our lads realise the severitiy of the position wer in and wer running out of games to change things but hope we can start agen on saturday

To be honest I sort of see where your coming from regarding the ref. I actually think he's quite a good ref, but we just seemed to get more of the "minor" 50-50 decisions than you's. Saying that I don't think it would have changed the outcome of the match and the 3 penalties awarded were all correct in my opinion. You's certainly have been dragged into a dogfight which I must say has struck me by surprise as I remember the night you's beat us 5-1 down in Carnlough in August you's were pretty awesome (we were pretty s**t too that night). Your lef t back y'day looks a cracker player...o and that shot your number 8 produced which rattled the bar was top notch! Anyway...good luck for the rest of the season! May the best team survive

Aye i def agreed with all the pens mate... no complaints there but the 50-50s pissed me off at times, but as u say wudnt hav changed things....we never looked like scoring until we wer 4/5 down.
aye dungas a class act, the most composed player iv ever played with when has has the ball and if my shot hada went in i think i wuda just retired on the spot! usually ther goin 30 yards over!
best of luck to u's 2!
