Does anyone else agree that dobie cant take defeat. After sky blues beat carniny 2-1 sky blues players and fans were delighted with the result and celebrated a bit. Dobie then came forward with the statement 'come back and tell us when u have won 10 league titles u w*****s'. have to say this was great sportsmanship. Now we all know who his son takes it after. his son is a good player if he kept his mouth shut and played football rather than getting sent off ;D

Thats dobbies problem, always has something to say no matter wot (win, lose or draw). He always gets some sort of remark out of his mouth to try and entice people. Did both teams have full squads?

yeah was surprised he didnt come on against us last nite. great result for us. Dont know wot a full squad is for them. we were without ricky wilson, mark waddell and randal reid. they had no mclaughlin, curry or wright. think wrights maybe banned at the minute. can anyone confirm this?

Watched the game last night, thought Carniny were poor. Saw them on Tuesday night against Ahoghill Rovers and they looked very very good. They didn't seem up for it last night but i could see that changing the next time they meet the sky blues. Sending off was fair enough. Great crowd up watching last nights game and tuesday nights game.

there was no unfair criticism. u said the sending off was deserved and so did i so thats not criticism. anything said on my post is fact not criticism. and saying i shy away when we get beat , think if u read on the enkalon section i did congratulate them on winning theyre cups last year. also congratulated all cup and leage winners in the 1st division last year so i think its u doing the criticising yoda! and on the sky blues section scott stated that sky blues would tank carniny and i made it quite clear that carniny are a very good team and the match would be tough. i know im not a good footballer but i am a true supporter of randalstown sky blues. i may mouth a lot at matches but which clubs supporters and management dont? when we beat a team like carniny im more than happy to celebrate. carniny do it against us and as u said carniny beat us 4 out of 5 last season so i had every right to be disappointed. dont knock supporters. theyre important to every club!!!!

I just want to add that no matter what people think of Dobie ive a lot of time for him as we've had some good battles down the years and he's always been in the thick of it. I mean who doesnt get upset when they're team gets beat, fair play to him thats what i say

Got to agree with you Ady. We all lose the head every now and then. I do for sure. There's nothing wrong with a bit of passion. Of course sometimes we over step the mark but we know that at the end of the day there is nothing sinister in it.
By the way Carniny won the Carlsberg Cup last season didn't thy? Maybe better stick that up on beside their name. Keep the peace.

fair play to carniny last nite, they were very good going forward and solid defensively. the scoreline was a fair reflection on the game and good luck to them in the final against penerol. sky blues were very poor last nite but no excuses carniny deserved to win this by the 3 goals. lucky it wasnt more

Thats some squad they have there. They usually have Gregory McClean in nets as first choice though. I think Rab Wright might be suspended. Not sure.

wright is suspended 10 or 12 games, mcloughlin wasnt there, mcclean wasnt there, ricey was on the bench, melvin not there and currie not there. wes lamont was on theyre sideline but not sure if hes signed

where is; brett rab wright melvine l.curry j.rice who is mo?? is it mo mc dowell?? Brett's been working a lot but started on saturday past against enkalon. Rab Wright is suspended for a few games. Johnny Rice has also started a number of games. Think Dobbie's got the perfect headache. So many quality players all busting to play but he can only pick 11. When you consider that nobody has mentioned Wigsy, Thommo, Craig Young or Bunter yet there is a good squad there to choose from. Squad has changed numerous times over the past 7 - 10 days but what with holidays, injuries and suspensions that is bound to happen.

can i ask 1 question y do the sky blues and carniny hate each other so much I don't think Sky Blues or Carniny hate each other it just two committed teams try their best to beat each other I have enjoyed the encounters over the years and their was games I admit got a bit hot and heavy on and of the field with the likes of Dobie Rab Wright The Blairs Colin Stewart and many more but its only players and supporters giving everything to their club and I have nothing but respect for Carniny and all who support them and I know they feel the same about us , so look forward to these games with them and hopefully we can kick their ass next time as they will no doubt try to kick ours .I would much rather play against teams of the quality of Carniny as beat some poor team by a cricket score.
