I don't usually do match reports but this game saw 4th v 5th in arguably the biggest game in the second div on the day
Not the greatest game to watch footballing wise but definitely a dramatic game in the way That for the second week in a row we came back from being behind twice to go on and win the game. Waveney scored a peach of a goal from 25 yards out, we went into half time 1-0 down after a rather lacklustre first half. The boss roasted us and got us well up for it as we kicked off the second half. It took us only 2 mins to get it even when the Waveney keeper droped a shot and I slotted it under him as he tried to make amends. 1-1. My first league goal for 4 months! Shocking statistic! 4 in 3 games though, so some sort of form is starting to appear again. Waveney made it 2-1 with the same player who scored the 1st peach putting away a less glamourus but equally as important second goal. The 2 Handford brothers combined with ross picking out Marcus with a freekick into the box where Marcus headed it past the on rushing keeper from 12 yards out to place it into the corner of the net Andy caroll style. 2-2. the waveney keeper then went on to pull off 3 great saves to keep the score 2-2. Marcus then went on to make it 3-2 with a very well worked goal which couldn't have been any more different than his first where he started with the ball on the touch line, played a one two and slotted it into the corner of the net to score his 14th goal of the season and the winner. Great comeback but a better first half display is needed for the return of our 3rd division promotion rivals Dunloy at the showgrounds on sat

Well done to Westend, in my opinion deserved the win, hard working team and difficult to break down. On top of that they can place some nice stuff and that was clearly evident after they levelled to make it 2-2 as they began to stretch our defence.
All the best lads for the rest of the season.

I still believe the 4-3 at the start of last season proved to be the game that could have changed the league winners outcome, you guys hit the post and we scored after your goalie made a mistake at 3-3, you need a bit of luck sometimes, just like this season with shore, they took their chances when we missed ours and did exactly the same to us as we did to you in the last minutes, right back in that first game of the season last year. Football is mad, sometimes it goes your way and sometimes it doesnt

I dont know how it ended up 3 home games on the trot, i suppose it was supposed to be 3 away games on the trot that we have just played (with st teresa) maybe he is evening things out Heading out training tonight 7-9 sir, cant wait to see what the place is like, though my hamstring is still tight! not sure about 9 points Donko! Dunloy have the chance on sat to get right back into the mix and they will be keen to knock our chance of promotion, it is a very tough game, it would be maddness to look beyond that one!

Its better than Ballee put it like that Rab. Plenty of grassy areas to train on with good gradients too But keep off the pitch

Have to say I really enjoyed training last night, it's great when you come out of a session and you are absolutely shattered knowing you couldnt do any more. Those wooden things around the edge are a death trap though, nearly wrecked myself a few times!
