Just heard the going ons behind this move as it did truely baffle me, ballymena utd had invested big money in these pair but due to lack of international expierence they where turned down for work permits, so in steps big cliff and says he knows a great wee club where the lads could continue to ply there trade until this whole fiasco is sorted. Even at that well done lads this could lead to a major climb up the table.

It's quite moving in ways and yet very inspiring in others...young children throughout broughshane should look forward to a tale or two in the next few years about these two great men.

massive statement indeed, although unfortunately these two superstars have been swayed by the money and instead signed for Qatar based team Al-Ahly Doha... wages of around 50 pound sterling a month and the oppurtunity to gain a sweet golden tan was obviously too good of an offer to turn down. Paddy is also partial to an old toke of Mary-Jane (no, not a local broughshane woman...) and obviously believed that Braid Uniteds anti-drug rule wouldve made this move impossible... he also mentioned that he doesnt suit maroon and therefore decided he would pursue his career as a footballer elsewhere. Too bad this move couldnt of worked out as im sure the talent of both Dj Bob and Paddy wouldve lifted this team out of the third division and possibly into Irish League football...
