Hopefully Broadway get another 3 pts tonight again, if they finish the way they did against Ahoghill and keep it tight at the back for a change then could be in for a great match!! All the best to the Brodway Hoops tonight!!  |

Wise up Harty ya beg!!, in the 2nd half Broadway played some lethal foobtall and had plenty of oppurtnity then the ref gave a very soft penalty in my eyes who was crap the whole game and gave brodway nothing, even one of the homers goal came from there midfiedler winning the ball with a high boot to the face on Quigley , then the fourth goal just killed broadway off!! Broadway gave away bad goals it wasnt if Homers passed it about like superstars or anything, were as Broadway got it down and played football !! Aye they might have got beat 4-1, but that doesnt mean they got taught a football lesson far from it, and i dont even support any of the two teams!! |

think in the end the 4-1 scoreline flattered homers a bit as broadway came out in the second half a more determined team and if at 3-1 they had of snatched another goal they may have got something from the game, but take nothing away from Homers there finishing was deadly and i dont think the broadway defence will come up against a more dangerous strikeforce all season!!

Homers are a very strong team this year and will have to be considered one of the favorites.
As Lion said they never taught us a lesson just got a few breaks and a few decisions when they needed them. They have some real quality throughout their squad took advantage, again though, no lesson!!!!!

broadway had one player and that was brady! bar a few long range efforts from him and a free header for fish broadway created very very little. bonzi and chimpy had a number of chances.
Chimpy best player on the park followed by brady. Thought the b'way left back had a real mare!
It was comfortable for the homers and i don't support either of the two teams.

about banjo at left back end of the day he's a midfielder, and as most midfielders do he tried too much at the back...think donal, darren and a fit catt wood a made a difference, even tho thought stevie done nothing wrong... thought the ref was terrible nicholl sending off was so harsh sayin there sideline was cursing an greeting the whole game..

Right lads, we get another crack at these hures again on saturday. We played some decent football in the second against them last time so we know if we play OUR game we have every chance. Homers beat Carniny 4-0 the other night so that shows just the sort of calibre we're up against, nothing to fear or be ashamed of as far as the last result goes as they beat the reigning champions 4-0, we scored!!
Nothing to lose lads, in my opinion they're the best team we'll come up against this year so lets have a go!!!

Just going to be honest here,
One of the Homers players was attacked in the town, by all accounts it was a catholic/catholics who were responsable. Word reached the PSNI that the towns UDA were seeking revenge for this and as Homers were due to play Broadway Celtic tomorrow they saw this as an ideal oppertunity to 'flex their muscle'. Who the f**k do these people think they are. What has that got to do with this game. It's a total f**king disgrace!!!
The police advised that this game should be called off as a result of expected paramilitary violence. The fight in town had nothing whatsoever to do with Broadway Celtic and I can assure you that no players were involved in any way as I'm sure the Homers player (not mentioning any names) will agree with.
These degenerates need to come into the real world with the rest of us!!!!!!

aye heard a bit about it this morning, think it's stupid the match being off, when it was nothing to do with football, police just causing tension now for the re arranged match, sure we played a week ago against each other and it wasnt a dirty game or any slabbering or anything.
