yeah rested the whole team i even played myself!! lol
they are a very good side, outclassed us at times but we gave them too many chances and with the quality they have up front they just punished us!!
dont think we will be the onlyteam they beat by that score this season!!

you now take back what you said about them on our top 4 thread??? quality side, and in my opinion they will run away with the league.

Bfp its a long season obviously Carniny have to be huge favourites but i wouldt rule the homers out. Carniny going forward are completely different class especially way there forward line but i think there are dodgy and slow at the back and will concede goals they gifted us a few chances early on obviously we didt take them btu other teams will. I thought we were well in the game but conceaded 2 bad goals before half time then 1 straight after the restart and that prob was game over

if carniny take the lead against you, you are f**ked. they never let you back in. i cant see homers getting close to them. tomorrow night will tell a tale or two. kenny neilly was the only broadway player who looked capable of causing them damage last night. you were dangerous in the air from set pieces, but you can tell you are struggling with fitness, im surprised you are even back playing yet to be honest. knee ops usually take a long time to recover from.

not once did i say they wouldnt run away with the league, just think sayin things like they will win a junior shield or junior cup is a bit premature!!
they can be got at and in the first half hour, which i think u didnt see bfp, we had them under pressure, maybe should have had a penalty and then we conceded a silly goal and that was it!!
kenny did look dangerous in the second half yeah and he looks to be a good signing!! but to say he was only player that looked dangerous is wrong whenever u didnt see the whole game!!

i missed the first 10 - 15 mins at the most. the only players that i saw looked dangerous to them was kenny neilly, and mickey in the air. no one else caused them any troubles. im not having a go at broadway, im simply stating how good carniny are. they were very comfortable at the back, and awesome going forward. you thought they were going to score everytime they got the ball from midfield out. they can run through a team like a dose of salts. that roger fella is unstoppable. to be fair to mickey he kept jason quiet, who is a very good player.

thought pat done well on roger to be honest, even though he did do well, but i have seen him destroy us and other teams far more like!!
think teams will start playing 5 at the back against them to try and stop them from picking teams off with their pace!!
their defence dont like getting balls played in behind them especially if teams have pace, thats how we looked kinda dangerous early on, but then we stopped doing it!!

Yes agree wee kenny was full of energy too much maybe i think he covered every position in our team in the first 5 minutes he came on ;D ;D Thats all im really good for at the minute is heading and tackelin but i do feel a little better way each game hopefully i can get back to somewhere near my A game. I had my 2nd operation last october and played 1 game in Feburary then never played again until we played shore in pre season so i have only played 4 games since Feb so i no im gonna struggle. No makin excuses either cause its up to me to train harder and get fitter

No makin excuses either cause its up to me to train harder and get fitter would you not be a bit wary of going in for a tackle, if it was me i wouldnt be comfortable for a good while. your match fitness will come back before you know it, and if you're comfortable enough in the tackle already, then you'll be back to your best in no time. id say the hardest part to getting back after an injury like yours, is getting into your head that you are ok to play again.

what i dont understand, everyone knows how quick he is, its a 2 man job when he gets the ball, ye have to work yer balls off to get him closed down. never happens.. But if you put two men on him, someone else is free.

Roger more often than not beats the two men, then someone else is free. That is what I meant.
