Holywell Away. We were the best team on the pitch as usual....... We also had two great chances at the start of the second half to even things up but didn't take them. Absolute travesty. I think we have the ability to bounce back as we play good football, just need to put them away to boost confidence.

was at the game last nite...to say u were the best team is stretchin it a bit keano. although if it had of stayed 11v11 id say it would have been much tighter. im sure broadway wont be panicking too much after one game though, they still have players to do well. but if they keep pickin up red cards like they going out of fashion then suspensions could take their toll

What I meant to say was 11v11 we were the best team on the pitch. Even when we had went to 10 men and 2 - 0 down we still looked dangerous. First game of the season, not the time to panic! Although I do know what you are saying about red cards, so so stupid!

need to say something here. our keeper gives away penalty in first 5 mins that rocks us. we dominate the game for next 20 mins but hollywell defence play offside trap brilliantly with a little help from the ref(13 in first half). We take our chances(at least 5 golden chances) we would have been 4-1 up.Hollywell break up the field, our centre half makes a mistake, our keeper brings their forward down, gives away penalty gets sent off.We replace our keeper with a defender, take off a striker(what can you do?) At this point we could give up but we dont but whole balance of team is all over place. So difficult now holywell have extra man they score again. After the break we have to go for it and we score, 3-1 ,play very well for 15mins, again better team but we tire ,hollywell score 2 more. The ref sends another of our players off at 5-1 down(for f**k sake).Try to keep score down but impossible. We amazingly score again with 9 men. 7-2 If game remained 11v11 and we beat offside trap have no doubt we would have taken something from game. Bouncing back on thursday wont be a problem we were excellent in periods against hollywell

i agree pele was unfortunate the way the game went but football kicks you in the teeth sometimes. But i know Broadway Celtic have enough excellent players and big characters to do well this season

saw the game last night, ahoghill were on top first 20-25, got the goal, broadway finally woke up, played some decent stuff, specs equalised..1-1..
2nd half broadway on top, not really creating much, but were the better side, ahoghill scored from a free kick, cracker..
after that game opened up, both teams had chances to score. stayed 2-1..
what the hell happened to that pitch?? really bumpy in terrible nick!!

our pitch is a f**king disgrace, dangerous too. Typical of council, pitch in a mess-throw sand on it Was supposed to be closed for maintenance in close season but was used day and night by just about everyone. Was best pitch in town now is just about the worst No excuse for the loss against Ahoghill we dominated the game for most of the 90mins ,still lose, but its got to come together and soon
