1. Thon new keeper. Looks handy enough. Back three of, 2. Dessie Birt 3. Gordy 4. Fausco Five man midfield, 5. Niall O'Hara (Rm) 6. Darren Bergoine (Cm) 7. Donald Crawford. C. (Cm) 8. Liam Lyness (Cm) 9. Tom Agnew/Pat Hudson (Lm) Front men, 10. Fat Fish 11.  ?? Going by the rumoured 3-4-3 set up that we used at Mallusk I've based this team on that. I decided, in my opinion, that with Donald fit we would have reverted to 3-5-2 anyway.... In order for it to be a success we would rely heavily on Niall and Tom (or those in the wide positions) as they would have to go from attackers to defenders depending on possession. I know the saying "defend from the front" but we would really depend on those two in particular bombing up and down constantly, a very tough role to play although arguably the most important when using this formation. As for the remaining striker, I've no idea as the only candidates left for a starting place would be the new boys who really have no experiance ever playing competitive football before. I know Joe for one seems keen on O'Hara up front along with myself (thank God he's not in charge of picking the team now   ), which would work as he has the pace to play off me, but I believe he is a winger (and a few other things, lol) and if we're to play to our strenghts should play him in his proper position and determine a suitable player to accompany my not so good self on the front line. (providing I get in any shape other than the perfect circle I am at present lol). |

the new keeper we signed wasnt in nets that night bfp that was there other keeper mark carey, they have two quality keepers apparently

neither you did!! he is from moneyglass pele!! big iron man hasnt finished and hopefully will have a part to play as well cos benny wont be available every week with the gaelic, especially in the early weeks of the season!!

The new keeper (name please??) looked good yesterday even though the scoreline suggests otherwise. He made some great saves. Could be a great signing!!!! |
