How did they lose??lol
This is from there website..the man should get a job with sky sports!
Sirocco Works will look back at this game and wonder how they lost it .The
match was played in windy conditions and Broadway chose to play with the wind
which seemed to go against them as Sirocco dominated the early stages of the
game . Dalzell and Kirkwood in the midde of the park were controlling
everything and giving plenty of the ball to the forwards . Hewitt had a great
effort saved by the home keeper who was in fine form. Sirocco did take the lead
through their captain Michael Boyd after another free kick from Hewitt was half
saved but the ball fell kindlly to Boyd who out muscled his opponent to prod the
ball home. At this stage it was all Sirocco who had an abundance of chances
but failed to convert anymore by half time .
Half time :Broadway Celtic 0 - 1 Sirocco Works
The second half was only 30 seconds old when a speculative shot from
Broadway found the back of the net , an unbelievable start for the home team .
This goal lifted the home team and this time they used the wind to their
advanatage . Sirocco settled down again but found themselves behind after the
referee played on when it was abundantly clear the Celtic player was in an
offside position and he made no mistake in scoring . A terrible decision by the
referee who was having a poor game . The home team kicked on from that goall
and with Sirocco losing Dalzell in the middle it seemed to weaken the team .
Hewitt and McCune both had close efforts but the home keeper again pulled off
tremendous saves and was undoubtedly man of the match .Two more goals
came near the end for the home team to see themselves march into the next
round. A poor result for Sirocco after dominating so convincingly in the first half .
Full Time :Broadway Celtic 4 - 1 Sirocco Works
