no need 4 it bale...if i was as gud as any of them boys id wana stay on feet as much as possible...ppl look at me funny wen i say i hate watchin spanish football Spanish football is s**te! I never watch it. Apart from the top 2 teams a lot of the rest would make top half in the prem. Tbh.. I think the referees have to take a lot of the responsiblity for the diving. no way, bollox there..outside top 4/5 in the prem, look at the rubbish.. sides like villareal, valencia, athletico, sevilla?? top sides there. technically the best league in the world. Prem for me is unbelieveably overrated.

Couple of good teams there Lenny but have fell in their own standards. They were all very good teams 3/4 years ago. Dropped way down imo now quite average teams
Spain is same as SPL 2 hours race every year
Prem is exciting and unpredictable

prem is exciting, absolutely..its fast, competitive and some great players.
unperdictable? how many diff teams have won the prem??

Always cones down to the last 1/2 games every year.
Barca have that wrapped up at Xmas. I'm not sure they would cope with big physical teams like Stoke, Bolton etc. They want to hit the floor to quick.

barcelona would win the premier league by more than what they win la liga, they are far and away the best side in the world at the minute and arguably the best side ever, yes they have off days but even on an off day they are a match for the top english sides!!
on last nights game just seen a stat that real madrid broke 2 champions league records last night the first being the most fouls committed in a game 29 and the other being that they fouled messi 11 times that being a record number of fouls committed on one player!! in my eyes that is disgraceful and the how they kept 11 men on the pitch last night is beyond me carvalho, diarra (who had a great game to be fair) and adebayor all could have walked!! i dont think mourinho will be there much longer either as dont think perez and the board will stand for his negative tactics much longer!!

were used 2 watching a certain type of football at o/t and for me jose is 2 defensive, so i was looking forward 2 c how he got on at real wif all their attacking players, tbf he hasn't done 2 bad apart from the big games when he shuts up shop, even fergie does that sumtimes, but i also think jose will be the next manager at united, it's the job he wants aswell imo. On another note, think all jose's gurning about the refs was the only reason they finished the game wif 11 players last night, definately influenced the ref, and how madrid gurn an complain about barcas players being cheats, divers etc etc is a fooking joke!!!

Hes good in Europe and proved he can win the prem no bother with what he done at chelsea

Ruined some good points by ending with that!! LOL... How can ye use "England's the motherland of football" as a point to suggest the EPL is the best in the world when the national team is historically pishe!! ;D ;D ;D ;D By your theory they'd be the daddy nation!! ;D ;D Some good points before that comment though!!!

I'm in no way saying its the best league in the world but, surely the Bundesliga must be the most competitive.
Must be right up there in terms of infrastructure and attendances as well.
Its no coincidence that the German National team are always pretty handy too.

Bundesliga certainly seems to be the league that caters the best for the fans. You can have a drink at the games and the prices aren't extortionate, the crowds it pulls too is phenomenal.

Watched revisita la liga last night and basically all they done was talk about it. They seemed to be more going toward Madrid but as youse both say barca always play well against them. Think a good part of heir arguement was Barca rely too heavily on Messi for goals, as although Fabergas has scored alot since his move, theirs not much goalscoring threat from the rest, whereas Madrid have Higuain, Benzema and Ronaldo, plus de Maria can score a few goals too.
Funny the one Madrid player they singled out for being a bit of a let down is Ozil, yet everytime I see him he looks a different class! I'd say them boys know their Spanish footy better than me though!
Easy to forgot Kaka still sitting on the bench there too, what a player he was 3/4 years ago!
Gonna go for a 2-2 draw with obviously messi and Ronaldo both scoring.

I fancy Barca for this one, too good a team and they always seem to give Madrid a going over in the 1st classico of the season. If Madrid have any chance they need to keep their discipline, including that arrogant prick on the sideline
