Just a question, as i've heard it has been done before just wondering what happens if the ref puts it in as a yellow card instead of a red, does that mean the players could still play and wouldn't be banned??? obviously your manager was watching the game so will know who to look out for, but does it depend on the ref???

Bazza its my understanding that in certain cases refs wouldn't put the red in,but the player in question serve's his 1 match ban out of courtesy(only word on the grapevine if your reading this monty)

it wasn't timmy hume junior LOL ;D i dunno, the ref mighta had a thought after the game that he sent boys off when it only warranted a yellow, so was just asking to c if any1 knew the crack, in my eyes they should stand, but if there's a loophole i'm all for it
