rite lads we really need to get this sorted or we could go downhill very quickly, we are a hell of a lot better than we are playin at the minute and its starts with our attitude before we go out on the pitch, the days of going out and beating teams 5 or 6 every week are over and we should start giving teams a lot more respect, we have to get back to battling hard and putting teams under pressure and getting a bit of fight into us< in the right way> we havent become a bad team just in my opinion we arent tryin hard enough, i know im not playin to my best so thank f**k this job in englands finished nxt week so i can get trainin and hopefully we can turn this round and get back winning!!!!

Whats happened flymo especially after your great start, Have youse been missing players or just a couple of bad performances?

To be honest pele its been a bit of both, we were missing players all year due to the GAA but we were still getting results so thats not really an excuse but it doesnt really help in terms of getting a settled team out. Think we just hav'nt been playing well enough or being clinical enough, with all due respect to the other teams in the two leagues, and as flymo says, its possibly a case of getting used to beating teams handy enough every week and we've sort of fell into a rut of thinking we dont even have to try anymore, add to that the fact that were seen as a bit of a scalp now so most teams up their game against us and the result is that we've been struggling.
In saying that I dont think we need to hit the panic button just yet, hopefully get a result in our next game and we should be back on track, but again as flymo says we need to up the workrate and sort the attitude, still think we have the best squad in the league going by what i've seen so far but that does'nt guarantee success.

Maybe the bad results are the kick up the ass youse need.
As we all know still alot of games and points to be played for yet.

There's good teams and good players in the 3rd div but over a season the difference in the 2nd and 3rd is massive. You might get a team that's going bad but in general there's not much in the teams, no team will be going to play a league game v teams like Michelin, Shore, Ahoghill, Waveney knowing they'll prob win!

Whats happened flymo especially after your great start, Have youse been missing players or just a couple of bad performances? think we started of well pele and we thought it was just a matter of turning up for games and we would win no bother, the last few weeks should be a wake up call to us and we get back to putting the effort in during matches, we have all the gaa players available but seem to have a different team everyweek, confidence seems to have totally drained out of the team but im sure if we get a result or 2 we will get it going again, swear to f**k youngys gonna have a fit if we dont win shortly |
