Bit of a blow to Penoral.
When are youse going to vote on a new manager? Anyone interested in the job yet?
I think big Darren or Quinn would be ok as managers.

Well fin told us that he told the committee at easter and they have been speakin 2 4 managers that have all coached or played higher level.I think we will get some1 that has a good track record as the penerol job would interest alot of people i think as it is such a class club.

There is nothing worse than a player manager. Just doesn't work, not at all. Can't make proper decisions on the pitch, the manager needs to be on the sidelines at all times. Talking about a committee, who getts to be in it and how?

Talking about a committee, who getts to be in it and how? Our committee exists of 5 people an ex player an ex manager and 2 other people and now finlay. Without these men the club just wouldt work i think its an essential part of a club. They mantain the pitch kits orgainise away matches and so on!

aye a committee is essential, we have finally got ours set up, was always a prob with us, players had too much say, thats why our discipline was so bad!!
as 4 players pickin the new manager, joke- u either want to play 4 all saints and with ur mates or u dont!! shouldnt matter who is managing!

I'm surprised, spoke to him the couple of weeks ago and he never said anything bout it, in fact he arranged a friendly with us for end of july! How come he has left?
I'm sure it won't be hard to get a new man to take the reigns. I see you've a couple of options which is a lot more than we have at the min!!
I have been player manager of our club since October (although i've always been involved in team selection etc) and believe me it's a near impossible task so strongly advise against it. I think my performances on the pitch have badly suffered because your always having to monitor what's going on around you as a manager and tactically its tough because you see so much more from the sidelines so aren't neccessarily in the best position to make the right call. Also, even though i'm one of the lads you have to keep a certain amount of distance between yourself and players which isn't easy.
Anyway that's just my opinion!
