A good start to the league campaign for Shore with a well deserved 3 points from an ill-tempered match.
Both Shore Goals came from Barry Graham, kicking off his season in style. Shore put in a commited performance, despite some x-rated challenges by Inver, 3 of which were worthy of a red card.
This fixture seems to be becoming a kicking session each season.
Man of the match for Shore was Anto Quigg, controlled the game in the middle, followed very closely by Sean Gillen.

Brother was watching the match and said some of the Inver boys should be inside with some the tackles flying about??
Have heard this before about Inver but anytime we have played them they have been ok. Is it just you boys they don't like?

Honestly dont know what the craic is, used to be a dead-on match but the past couple of games they have been putting the boot in, didnt get them any points last night though!!

By far the dirtiest team I have ever played against. Can't believe the f**king ref turning a blind eye to it all (Fat c**t from Larne). If the game had of been reffed properly, half their team would have been sent off easily.

lads its nothing personal ive been told some of the boys just got abit fustrated at not getting the result they were hoping for to start the season. so no hard feelings as for the ref (father jack) as hes more commonly known in larne he comes from hollywood and charges a fortune ask anyone who came to larne for matches last season. usually totally inept for both teams apparently charged the boys £26 last night.
once again no hard feelings and well done starting with a win

One of the worst teams in the league conduct wyse, and also football wyse.

there were a few bad tackles last night from inver, but there was a few from you lads aswell,maybe a better ref would have handled the match better, but it wasnt one sided like u all suggest, a few times u lads ganged up to kick our wee striker, who somehow only got bout bout 2free kicks for it

your root of a striker (jermal) is the only one to blame for the way the match turned out. hes a fantastic player tho ruins his game by gettin on the way he does as he'd get far more out of the game if he just played football and didn't get on like a wab........... tit for tat in the tackle department is less than he deserved as i quite enjoyed puttin the boot into him when i came on for his antics !!!!
all that aside we played well and just got on with the game and got the points which we deserved !!!
