Imo youse dont miss good players in easy games, No disrespect to Northend but hom many goals have they conceded this season, Prob the most in the league.
Its the tight games and tough games where the big players should step up and normally do.

Not an awful lot of football played between us today, more just a good oul fashioned battle, something we've been severly lacking in recent times, which was pleasing.
Could have been different if the pen had went in but anyway a win is a win. good to see Birdy pop up with 2 good goals on his 21st birthday.
Would have prefered 3 league points rather than a cup win though!

Carnlough at home on tue night!
a huge game for both teams, we are no well and truely in the battle for top4 after our recent form and Carnlough are fighting for their lives to stay up.
Big lyness suspended and 3/4 other boys hanging together with injuries, only 2 subs on sat so were just gonna have to suck it up and get on with it.
every team is on the same boat this time of year.

Gonna be a difficult game we hav picked up 6 points from a possible 15 in our last five games which isn't good enough especially some of the leading positions we have been in!!
Need everyone on the squad this week to step up to the plate and mak sure we not only win thi game but also Thursday night an get 6 points to give us a bit of a cushion for top 4!!

Yes the first game v saints was prob the only time this season I've had what I'd call my strongest team out....would have been the same regardless who we played that particular day.
Couple of weeks ago v saints was far from a strong team

Should relegation happen then so be it. League table doesn't lie, no team is too good to get relegated.

We havnt had much luck lately and wen ur in a losin pattern its hard to get out of it. One thing wev lost in recent times is a winnin mentality and maybe the second wud bring that back..... Look at broadway sure!!.... Wev a young squad that mayb lack a bit of experience at times but who nos wat difference a year can make At the min tho we do hav a battle on our hands and thers no 1 givin up yet! Carnlough swifts R a first division club and on r day we can giv all the teams in this league a game as im sure evry1 nos. Dnt rite us off yet |

The Broadway side is completely different from the side that won the 2nd division last season mate. Normally on a sat we have three players max in the starting XI that were at the club last season. |
