Both teams had to play on it lenny dont forget... I thot the draw was a fair result, no real clear chances for either team. Good battle tho! totally agree, we wont get into an arguement over the pitch, im sure u would agree a wee cut and a roll would have done no harm! if anyone was gonna win it, it was youse..was impressed with a good few of ur players today, especially dunga, 2 centre mid players, and they young lad with the pink boots is outstanding!! how did youse get on in the afternoon?? |

We knew we were lucky to come away with a point and fair play to carnlough good tough game.
Ive been to the algarve and had a fortenite in majorca but it never compares to the 2 weeks i had in carnlough when i was 11 and we won the 5 a side in civic week in the car park at the harbour outstanding. We were called the midget gems and we beat fudgie,s team Breadan Rodgers) team in the final.
And a game of pac man after it DAAAAYYYSSSS

when ye have your 'own' pitch there just isnt the money about nowadays to maintain the upkeep of a pitch. its alot easier (and cheaper) to walk onto a council maintained pitch where its all done for ye. the grass was long on both wings of the pitch, was due to be cut but for whatever reason it wasnt.
as for the game, IMO it was a great batlle to watch. we had a game plan, it worked, bar the lack of opportunities. games like yesterday suit us down to the ground, nobody will match our commitment & general fitness when we are in the mood so a decent point for us considering the form of both sides, but some ASOB folk may not agree may be disappointed not beating that 'shower of s**te'.
PS Stevie morgan is a waste on the left wing, very disappointed at the wastage of a super player ,more quality than any ASOB midfielder (central) IMO. give him a chance....
ps Kele's boots aren't pink! ;D

Dingle def would agree your boys are full of heart and all very fit as we found out when youse got one late on against us  A very tough place to get a result by the sounds it was a fair result. Where did Stevie Morgan play for youse? Tbh cant really say much about saints midfield as there results have been impressive thus far. |

stevie was asked to play left handside..not his position for sure..2 left wingers both injured at the min..so we were stuck.

Coleraine, ballymena, Ballymoney, Welly Rec ,larne & crusaders all present yesterday! not bad for a 16 year old at this level!
Reserves was v Carniny Amateurs. they were always up against it, done ok for most of game til the sendings off. very fussy referee didnt help the flow of the game either way.

Someone on side line/ far side of field - embarrassing not beating this 'shower of s**te' - mainly in the second half!
no problem whatsoever with any comments made, as i said it was a tongue in cheek remark from me regards the result, from AS point of view & the comments made.

I was on our line and never heard that said at all!! Only "abuse" from our line was at big Conor in nets as he constantly gave me a hard time about the referee!!
