think these boys had their 1st win recently so will definately be up for this one. Bit of a rivilary thrown into the mix with us sharing a pitch with them last season, although the swifts have changed so much since then!!  Will be interesting to see how the management thing works on sat, as people have said, you cant play and manage. personally i thought bobby had a great game last week so will brian sacrafice his position?? few question marks around left back too with cujo and yours truely slogging it out! (although id be MORE than happy slipping into centre mid again)  . i predict a narrow win for the swifts....lets just hope that grass has been cut!! ;D ;D |

Guys, big game on sat and a chance to get another three points. Great performance last week and a great attitude from everyone at training. There is a real good feeling about the club at the minute and everyone is chipping in.
Lets put all the uncertainty of the last couple of weeks behind us and get on with the job in hand which is winning football matches.

all i can say is that there is now a good squad of players at club and plenty of options which is great for the team and will keep everyone including me and brian on our toes.

suppose its good aswel that a few boys can play in different positions, means we can change things if necessary like last week (when i moved into midfield and changed the game ;D ;D) bobby's right, thers a much better feeling about the club now that everyone knows what happening after a few weeks up in the air. really lookin forward to this game now, hope we can keep it going! best of luck 2morrow lads,i'l be out for around a month with torn knee ligaments,so the coachin staff wont have to aganise over weather or not to give the cocobean his debut or not lol,seriously though get stuck in and play the way we played last wk and bring the 3points home from portglenone.

thought we were excellent today and the scoreline definately flattered them, we could have had 5 or 6....my penalty miss didnt help!!! no one put a foot wrong today and was nice keeping a clean sheet 2nd game in a row. when was the last time we won a game one nil? ?!!!!! special mention to wee paul devlin with the only goal of the game, sweet strike and good game all round....seem him in maureens dolled up with the pinstripe on, lookin sweet! lets keep this going lads, who we play next week? |

yes, great win today guys. Everyone put in a good shift and it was a great finish by paul devlin. nice to see kirk back and darren was super filling in again at centre half. Great to get a couple of wins and clean sheets.
wouldn't worry about the pen miss square as there were a couple of worse misses today including one by me. lol Lets keep it going now!!

hard to get a worse miss than a pen but i see your point, 6 inches to the left and it would have peen a lethal penalty!! winning ugly is a good skill to have and 2 games without conceeding is a good sign...if you dont leak goals you dont loose games and thats just it!

should have had both full backs on the score sheet today  think our defense has been excellent over the past few games, darren definately helps in there, but cant help and think how much better we might be with him in centre mid??? kirk had a good game today so maybe with a few more games him and andy kelly can form a decent partnership in there with neil, ricky and darren in the middle of the park. need to keep this going lads, those 2 fixtures suited us perfectly but now the harder games will come thick and fast....these last 2 games should give us the confidence to play anyone in our division. |

yeah it was a good game, i enjoyed it. we played some nice football
everyone played well, a wee mention to chrissy graham who again worked his balls off and had another good game.
the next meetong is this week, i will get the next few fixtures at it
