Mark Watson from Westend would have to come into it and our own Jordan Craig and Darren Quigley too. And hard to look past Cyril McCosh from Glenarm either lads. Also Pearce McAuley seems to be in good nick atm;would be interesting to see him up alongside Dowie in a SelEct Team.
Manager would be Dobie/Jordan and Hamill combo !!!

All these select sides everyone picks are always made up of boys from the so called big sides league position wise, mainly because people go by names they only know. I dare say there are plenty of players from the 'lesser' sides and even other boys in the teams that always dominate these debates that never get a look in. I'll leave who i think of my players out cos that would be seen as biased but I'd give likes of johnny black and Paul Aiken of Glenarm rovers a mention for starters.....feel free to add. Agree with this Dingle. The two you mentioned were very good against us for Glenarm. The fella Dunga played very well for you's. There's usually a couple in every team that would grace any team in the league.

some cracking players in BSML, you could easily pick 2 cracking teams that could give any team a game.
def say our league is better than ballymena intermediate and top 4 teams would give any amatur league team a game,
from ourselves as mentioned id say j black- diff class at times c.mccosh- has it all in his locker, not many can say they have outplayed him in midfield. p aiken- very trickey and skillfull, not many would have more skill than this young lad, does things that you would see in soccor am

I lol at Kieran Loughran never getting a mention in threads like these technically and ability wise no one better but as you say all teams have a couple who deserve to be in.

Forms are in the post Rover Pele totally agree with you in relation to Kieran but as he isn't playing regularly with you guys due to "shifts" I didn't include him. But for me he's a class class act;and an absolute gent n pro mate!!

def say our league is better than ballymena intermediate and top 4 teams would give any amatur league team a game, I think this is quite an exaggeration. Have you ever watched an Amateur League game at Premier level. Its so much faster than any BSML game I have seen/played in. Teams at that level would eat any BSML team - the clue is in the fact that one is junior level (and not too many win the Junior Shield/Cup) and the other is intermediate level where they compete in Irish Cup, Steel & Sons etc. I'm not knocking this league but take big Cyril as an example - went to Wellington and was a bit-part player. I thought it was harsh on him at the time as you could see he was a super footballer but the manager had a reason and that was better alternatives Certainly there are players in the BSML that could match Amateur League players but not teams.
