Tonight we celebrate the life and times of Paul "I left my wallet at home" Herbison. The 7 Tower's FC stalwart, according to inside information, is nearing retirement from the game and his soon to be former team mates would like a tribute....
A couple of people in around 1983 had all but given up having a child. They'd tried every imaginable position and trick but to no avail. They decided to try artificial insemination and headed off to the Sperm Bank. They applied, Mr Herb threw a load into a cup and they waited for the nurses to mix it with the eggs. Unfortunatley the nurse who took the cup to the mixing room called into the canteen first and without concentrating set the cup down and accidentally picked up the wrong jar to bring to the lab.....
Nine months later, wee Paul Herbison was born.
All the relatives visited the infant at a special ward for children with similar conditions...
Within a few days the trademark locks were well on display...
The entire family were chuffed to bits.....
Especially his uncle Hamish...
Some hure tampered with his first school photo the bas...
First thing he got was the family Bible....
His teenage years were a tad experimental...
He only went on the pull in the dead of night with one thought on his mind....
He was determined to be the only ginge in the village...
He aged very quick and became religous...
