After a great win on Saturday in the Top Four Semi Final, it is back to the bread and butter of the League against another top side in Abbeyview!!
This game should be a cracker and after Abbeyview giving us a hammering at the back end of last season it is a game we know we will have to be on top form to get all three points out of!! Few players missing for various reasons this week but our squad is strong enough to cope and hopefully we can keep up our 100% start to the season!!
Cmon the Saints!!

No doubt have to put the Top 4 Final outa the system its not till Nov 5th so we have plenty of football to think about before it.
Abbeyview will be hurting from not getting into the final themselves so we need to be ready for a real tough battle.
Hudsy will be missing for 3 weeks with a tear to the hamstring which is a big blow for the club and himself.

That's great news Lenny as thought u would be out for longer!! Definitely nothing less than the work rate from Saturday will do this week!! As for the final monte senior was on trying to book final for Friday 5th November but nothing confirmed for definite yet as council ain't confirmed availability of main arena yet!! |

Talking of watching a game pele....FC Larne are in town (showgrounds) tomorrow afternoon v Carniny AFC if you want to do a scouting mission.
Watched them the other week v Bmoney Res, they are pure flaps. Hateful gurny wee c**ts too. Football wise you should hit them for 7/8 easily.

finished 2-2.
good game of football..
i thought we could/should have 2/3 up before we finally scored.
absolute cracker it was too from Paul McCallin..
we had a few more decent chances before abbyview scored, quick free kick was chipped in, came back off the bar, think brucey it was who put it in..
after that abbeyview came into it, it was even steven.
2nd galf we came out flying, but final ball was brutal..missed few more chances.
we then started to get on each others back, and abbeyview took control..cocky missed a great chance, zola hit the post..
we then got a goal from big carlton, crackin header from a corner..
abbeyview then had a man sent off..2nd yellow, but always looked dangerous, big brucey missed a free header with a few mins left..
they then got their 2nd goal with 30 seconds left..
absolutely gutted, feels like a defeat.
alot of positives from the game, and hopefully we can learn from the mistakes.

fair summation of the game, had we taken our chances in first half it would have been over at the short whistle, but all in all i would say the draw was probably a fair result. Not impressed with the number 6's comments at half time, lets just say i thought comments like that were a thing of the past in this country. not overly impressed with one of the referees comments either, seems like everybody has a problem with teams like us, disgusting.
