Westend were probably unlucky not to get at least a point from the game tonight. 1st half was pretty dire from both sides and dont think anybody really had a shot. 2nd half was far more open and both teams created a couple of chances, Westend hit the bar twice as well. We scored from a scuffed effort from Stevie Sexton from outside the box To be honest we were pretty poor tonight, we never got going at all but we got 3 points which is the main thing. Makes a change fromthing away from Westend as I thought they played well. Good luck to Westend for the rest of the season, play some good stuff and have some very good players. I think they will surprise alot of teams this year. There was probably only about 10 fouls in the whole game, and half of them came in the last 5 minutes when things got a wee bit heated Mark Watson is a different class by the way, should be playing at a far higher standard

We were pretty gutted to come away with nothing, that was how we felt in all the other two games we lost this season also. Football is a bitch sometimes , our luck is bound to change soon

Think you guys had just the one shot on target, but it was the one that counted - made us pay for not taking our chances. Think I've got Miss of the Season tied up already after my effort! Mark was excellent as usual - makes a big difference to us. Anyway, all the best for the rest of the season.

Just wasnt to be Westends night. Cant remember your keeper having a save to make either mate. As I said I think you'se will be fine this year if you play as well as you did last night and against Waveney on Saturday.

Michelin were probably lucky enough to come away from this game with the 3 points and to be honest have their big keeper, Andy something or other, to thank for it. He pulled off maybe 3 or 4 saves at either point blank range and a few one on ones. Then as you lads have said, having created next to nothing for the front men the entire game big Sexton gets a sniff and buries, clean aff his shin. Nice finish.
I also thought Sexton was unlucky with his one on one later in the game where he hit the post.
At any level if you want to win things then a big part of that is getting the results even when you're not on your game and last night was a perfect example that Michelin are able to do that.
I have to mention Tommy, who has been injured, comming on and looking very lively and causing West End problems. Our Broadway lads already proving great additions to Michelin LOL. Andy too when all the signing is sorted will be a great player for you if fit.
Well done Michelin!!!!

Were you playing Trevor?? ;D What area of the pitch would you have been standing at the time?? It looked to everyone on the sideline like a miss hit. Were you near the scuff by any chance?? ;D ;D

it was gutting to lose that match last night. Been a bit like that for us this season so far but just have to keep going!
I thought the guy caught the ball cleanly for the goal, kind of want to believe that anyway cause hearing it was a scuff would make it even worse!
