Charged me £43.80 today too ffs lol Hahaha, that's shocking!!! ;D Don't know if it was him but I recently heard about a BSML ref who got a lift to and from a match from a player/manager of one of the clubs that day and when he was asking for his doe he still tried the hand and asked for travel!!! hahahaha ;D ;D Anyone know the full story (as I only know that much, think someone was saying it at our pre season training) come on and fill us in!! |

I don't know if it's the same story but when I was at Woodside around 11 or 12 years ago, we were playing some Antrim team on the pitch behind Chimney Corners ground and Darryl our manager lifted wee Norman Wisdom at the chapel corner. After the game was over wee Norman Wisdom asked Darryl for a lift back into the chapel corner and Darryl asked him how much was the match fee. The basic then was £10 plus whatever travel expenses. Norman Wisdom asked for £13. Darryl wanted to know how he worked that out and wee Mr. Grimsdale said that the 3 quid was for in and out of Antrim. Cheeky b**tard. Darryl was refusing to pay it until brylcreem head told him he would be reporting it to Monty if he failed to pay. Darryl had to pay up. |

Father jack likes his expenses. When at Woodside, every time we played at the forum, he was our referee. £10-£15 being the usual fee around the late 90's, he was charging us £30 a pop. I asked him one day where he lived and he said Glengormley. We went to Monty to ask him to stop sending him up to us all the time.
Any wonder he's holidaying in friggin barbados.
