Just to clear up whats being talked about else were reguards weasal leaving the swifts. Yes i did ask him if he would come back (in early june) and he said no as he was happy were he was, which was fine why wouldnt he be. Its no secret Towers lost a lot of players but we were no worse than a couple of other teams in the same boat. Saying that he wasnt good enough or was just a sub the last time he was at the towers is bad information. Weasal, as anyone that knows will tell you had been injured for the best part of 3 years waiting on a knee operation. From feb till the end of the season when he was fit he had plenty of games, then at the end of the season said he wanted to drop down to the 3rd to try and find some form as he felt he should have been playing better than he had. I dont know whats made him change his mind, never asked as its between him and stan. As stan said they did well before they had john and will go on without him.

John fought long and hard with them plastic drain pipes he calls legs. Most people know that situation and his decision to leave towers, a decision that was very hard for him.

I seen him play recently and he seems to have got himself back to something like fitness and to be honest although knee surgery can't do anything about his ugly face, he's showing he can play abit, something injury prevented him from showing at towers before.

Also, everyone knows he's a towers man, always has been and probably always wanted to return. Something i feel was enhanced by the rumours of towers troubles!

He left a team that is very well run by stan and the squad is pretty good, they'll move on!!

That will be him back at the partying now though lol.

A, I wasn't at a wedding on sat and B, they are no longer the type of forms you carry about with you and wip out in a pub!!

lads it was on my mind for a week or 2 now and i finally plucked up the courage yesterday to do so and it was 1 of the heardest texts ive had to write.

and the decision wasnt taken lightly at all, i had talked with herbs, fish, pele10 and others about it and thought its best doing now rather than during season

i just want to forget about it all now and concentrate trying to get in towers team

ive said what i need to to the people that matter and thats all i care about

as for others following i can assure u thats not the case at all

can i welcome wee john back to the towers - there was a part of him that never left the club and i knew that from day 1. great to have him back and another of the old guard returning. by all accounts he had a great season with swifts last year and he will undoubtedly make the step up and be an important player for us. onwards and upwards for the towers

Tbh i agree here way the clown, I hink a phone call would of been alot more appropiate but it seems to be the done thing as far as i can see.

Just got a very interesting phonecall from a ex towers playin sayin homesy had threatened to pull the plug on the towers in a very heated phonecall with weasel and as every1 knws even though they done the dirt on him once he has a special bond with them and to cut a long story short homesy efectivly emotionally blackmailed poor wee weasel with the ultimatim come back or else it will all b on your shoulders if we go under!!!!! poor weasel and tut tut homesy!!!!

interesting reading all this, what i cant understand after me already givin him the boot and treating him like dirt, and saying you think hes just back to make up numbers. when he was movin on from lisnafillan why not go to nothend, sure anyone would get a game there atm.......after pele strokin half the team.....

we lost a few plyers yes and maybe it will take a few weeks to get things in order but i honestly believe we shall stay put and when the clown gets fit and deo and anthony and itchy get back we wont b the whipping boys that many think ans as th old sayin goes its not the dog in the fight its the fight in the dog!!!!!!
