another fruitless endeavour from the blackpool of the bsml. Referee didn't give us a fair game and cost us the match. we played some good stuff. Fair play to broadway for plugging away and good luck to them for the rest of the season. big game on tuesday night, hopefully we'll have the 5 boys back that were missing last night plus the 2 new boys that have signed and we'll go again and try our best for 3 points.

we played some very good football last nite but again no reward for it. Referee was brutal to say the least.  we could do with gettin some points on tues nite againt carnlough to get us off the mark |

We actually had 9 players missing last nite plus the two new signings.
Anyhow onto the game. The results do not suggest it and this may sound arrogant but, some of the football our boys play must be up there with the best in our league. However, that doesn't get you results.
Thought Kyle and Sloanner were superb last nite. Never stopped the whole 90 mins. Gavin Burnside was the pick of the Broadway 11.
Its already been mentioned and i'm not taking anything away from Broadways victory but, last night was one of the most abject refereeing performances i've ever seen. It was totally unfair.
Heads up for Tuesday night and try and get off the mark.

Harty dont want to get into a slanging match just wondered could you give some of examples of the bad decisions youse got last night? I honestly cant remember any, just players getting booked for dissent which everyone knows that that ref doses't tolerate. |

Anytime I've seen your man Rainey referee the word POWER and TRIP spring to mind!
Have yarned to him a time or 2 off the field though & he seems a decent fella!

I honestly cant remember any, just players getting booked for dissent which everyone knows that that ref doses't tolerate. Bucky lifted his hands three times and only got booked. For your 3rd goal we had a blatant free kick in the middle of the park and never got it he played on and gave you's a free kick up the pitch for next to nothing which, you's eventually scored from. We should have defended it better granted. He blew us up for offside the time you played everyone on and had the cheek to argue with me. ;D Boydie was clean through on goal and he blows for full time. There was countless decisions given against us and I'm sure our lads could give you more examples. The fact we had players booked for dissent tells its own story. We aren't like that and I'm sure you would back that up form playing against us last year. As I said i'm not taking anything away from you's. IMO the ref was horrendous. |

Bucky and Boydy were both at it Bucky would of been very unfortunate to get sent off imo Cant remember the free kick but it def was a free kick for us for our goal, As for me playing youse on they def was one lad offside The time way Boydy sure he had already played 5 minutes added and we were in the 7th minute harty so youse got 2 extra minutes anyway. You told me last nite there was three off, now you've it down to one. ;D ;D Lastly I would pay good money to have heard your reaction had Gavin been clean through to equalise and mr moustache blew the final whistle. ;D |
