Sympathy goal.
Inver are the worst team in Larne.
That includes all Larne Youth/Colts and Ladies teams, and the wee lads that play on the front green at Seacourt.

LOL, we played the LTOB IIs at the start of last year in a friendly and drew with them IIRC.
We went on to win the league so it shows they are a good team, plus with it being a local game and if the firsts are playing that day they may draft a few down to play for the seconds.
Wouldnt mind seeing this, but no doubt will be at our own game.

LTOB 2nds are poor this year,if they have no '1st teamers 'on,inver should fancy there chances.

well done inver drawing with the tec and beating them on pens.currently yous are bottom of 3rd div so some may say worst team in the three divisions. just goes to show that the alot of people look down on the sat morning league but none of the amatuar secounds teams in larne would do much in the BSML.
go as far as too say carniny would beat tec, welly,newington or islandmagee firsts

cheers lads
i thought with a full squad to choose from and our fitness levels we would take them the distance as long as they didnt get further than a goal ahead and it proved so. tech chairman complained to ref that @ halftime that we had 2 many in there extended dugouts so ref came and ordered 4 behind the fence . just fired the players up more. boys enjoyed it and are going to milk it v certain individuals for rest of season.

1 down in first 10 mins levelled through gareth mcneil who lobbed the keeper who got a hand on it only to kill the ball and gareth slotted in. went behind again start of second half from a corner levelled from the spot through aggie. youg ally in nets made a few supper saves to keep us in it and they missed a few chances. tech lost centre half in extra time he was booked in first half for slabbering then gave away the pen then brought down our player when he was last man then got a second yellow for throwing a punch
