Looks like your information was wrong from what i hear Carniny will be at the dinner. You all seem like a bunch of jealous wee boys that should concentrate on their own teams and worry less about others, maybe then one of your teams might be able to challenge them.

Tbh im glad Carniny are for the dinner i dont think it would look good for the league or Carniny if they were't there.
Also it looks as if its a two horse race for the Division One POTY between McDowell & Dowie and i'd think they would like to pick it up in person.

Just to clear up a few points.
Carniny have not banned any of their players from attending the league dinner.
Had anyone representing the council been in attendance then Dobbie would not have been present due to the ongoing protest against the state of the Wakehurst pitches.
Carniny did not pull out of cups just because it suited them. It was done because the team needed to prepare properly for junior cup and shield semi-finals (while representing the BSML).
Carniny are in no financial difficulties whatsoever with a good fundraising committee, generous sponsors and income from good junior cup and shield runs.
The Night at the Races was to pay Dobbie's excessive wage demands!
(Good point though rubberman, clubs should all stick together when a club is in diffs??)

(Good point though rubberman, clubs should all stick together when a club is in diffs??) for a start carniny wrecked there own pitch , by standing on it on a fri/sat sweeping water of it and snow , then put a load of sand on it just 2 get a game played , so u cnt blame the bbc ... i tink the bbc have done a smashing job on the pitches else were so i dont understand how u can protest way the bbc over the state of wakehurst when a team does this

Exactly right! The bbc have done a smashing job on the pitches .... ELSEWHERE!
If the wakehurst pitches had proper drainage no-one would have to sweep the water off them. And yes, it's to get games played to avoid a fixture backlog.
The bbc aren't being blamed for the state of the pitches but they ARE being blamed for not maintining them properly.
