well its the end of the season, and i for one am delighted in what weve achieved this season  came 2nd in the league, beat by one point...and gained automatic promotion with 5 games remaining, the winners of the george mccauley cup and knocked in 97 league goals..so overall i cant complain   ;D gutted not to of won the league, but hey thats football...bummed and blowed all season about us gonna be winning the league and what not, but hey i stuck by it, cause i knew exactly what we have out here at connor football club and unfortunately we were pipped to the finishing line to an experienced Broadway celtic side ;D in 3 or 4 years time, most of our players will be either 22/23/24...so the future looks bright out here, and what we achieved this season, with the young squad we have was brilliant... WHO SAYS YOU CANT WIN NTHING WITH KIDS???  alan hansen yeaaa root lol and winning the george mccauley cup the way we did was outstanding but overall i enjoyed my first season in the BSML, learnt quite a few things lol...but hoping next year is just as successful ;D well done lads...and well done to Broadway for ruining my perfect first season LOL ;D |

I'll give credit where it's due (even though you couldn't do it on title day LOL) and must agree that for a young team there's certainly quality out there and as you say so many years in front of them. Honestly think both Connor and oursleves will make quite a mark in the first. Think Marriott's absence will cost you big time but have no doubt big Norton can fill in up there rightly!!! LOL...
The McAuley Cup is a great acheivement, it's no league like but it will do, hahaha. Only messing, well done on a good season, piped at the end by one of Broadway Celtic's strongest squads ever.

abit of peace now between the 2 camps now after alot of slaberin/slaggin ;D but Broadway vs Connor will still be one of the games everyone will be diein to watch next year!! well done both teams... this year has been brillent!!!

haha brilliant night last lads, all our connor boys enjoyed it the crack was brilliant between the clough/broadway/connor sides... ;DLOL even we chesney boy, got a shirt for last night although it was 4 sizes to big for him lol and i was stuck to my we pri-mark t shirt, without a tie i might add but naw must say all the broadway boys, arnt that bad after all, alot of good lads...except rubberman but, him and his tie jokes... we c**t haha lol and thanks for the people that voted for me this season, appreciate it alot, means a hell of alot to me great season connor, looking forward to next season even more now |

my posts are all true or near enough ;D i dunno whos worse, you or mervyn for your rumors but saying mervyn is making up stories about stedfast players and using my name to give these imaginary stories credability.... im gonna let the truth out of the bag on a few TRUE stories surrounding the connor camp. mervyn crawford was spotted at abbeyview training towards the end of last season, word on the street was he was ready to walk away from his beloved connor if they didnt get promotion what sort of loyality is that?? and......... from the same inside source that revealed the alan telford transfer months ago, another new signing has been confirmed for connor. This time is young Rocky from raceview has all but put pen to paper. This will add competition to Gregg and Norton for a starting place. |
