This one definitely deserves a thread of its own.
One last match lads. I hear the village of Clough is buzzing and you can't get a ticket for love nor money.
Huge match! never mind the 90 million playoff in England this is the 90 quid playoff right here.
Big squad for the game, lots of competition for places. Which can only be good. Anyone from outside the 2 teams care to make a prediction???

Not sure what way this will go. Both good teams and a few potential match winners on either side. On recent form Clough has to be favourites but i wouldnt right off Shore after beating a strong 7 towers side in the semis.

Cheers pal and good luck. I mind that day after we beat use 3-0 in the Rainey cup and we were walking up from the pitch and you were talking about relegation to the 3rd now use are 1 game away from the 1st.

I think Shore were right up there with Broadway and Connor in terms of how good a footballing side they are, although the run Clough are in is unbelievable. Ill go for Shore to sneak it, alot of experienced boys in their team whereas Clough are a young team and that might make a difference. Should be an interesting touchline with Micky down 1 side and Cowboy down the other

No need Chesney.... You couldn't just say "I mind talking to you one day last season, maybe after one of our games and you were talking about relegation". Your post there might as well read "aye, well done getting to the final but always remember, we thumped ye's 3-0".... And if you're going to go into detail ye can't leave out my wonderful strike on same morning!!!

Now that's aff my mammeries ;D ;D This game will be a great one to watch. I think both teams deserve to be there although I also feel Michelin were very unlucky not to be in the mix as they too have a good bunch of players and can play super football!! We were fortunate enough to take maximum points (starting to sound like Chesney LOL) against these teams during the season but when we were done we always knew we'd been in a game and at times were lucky to get the win. Have to agree with Mitty, Clough's recent form (which was long overdue to be fair) might be a big factor but the experience and abilities of people like Willy Brown and "2letfeet" at Shore, for me, will make the difference here. I too feel Shore might steal this but it really is a game that could go either way. Best of luck to both teams!!!

You's and St Comgall's were the only teams to do the double over us this year. And was your "wonderful strike" (keeper should have saved it not in the 3-2 game?!

I did't realise it was Stewartie who missed that sitter that day f**k i think it was worse than Van Vossen against Celtic years ago! ;D LOL Well I assumed it was Stewartie, as did young Chesney. We could be wrong though. I'm sure Stewartie will, in his own time, confirm or deny these assumptions....
