Shore MOTM - Shane Ruddy and Aaron scott - cant pick between the 2 were very good at the back,Sean Hale was very close too - think big Norton was glad to see the back of him for the season

Shore Goal - Kevin Downey - one of the best goals i have seen in the BSML - and the wee fecker ran 26 miles on Monday!!


Cannot believe we lost this - 1-0 up with 10 minutes to go, a lucky deflection fell the way of Darren Campbell - then we conceded from a harsh free-kick - 2 bits of good fortune saw Connor through - hard to take when we hit the bar twice as well when 1 up. Didnt help when Sandy did his usual Anti-Antrim team referreeing - this guy has shafted us in cup matches for years now

Lads how you's didn't win that game i've no idea, we were awful and yous definitely deserved the win, we seemed to s**t one and maybe it was the nerves of the semi final, i dunno but we were poor and couldn't pass the ball 5 yards at times, but we showed good fight and spirit to come back when we looked dead and buried!

Sean Hale is an absolute nightmare lol he gave me the runaround tonight at times, i was delighted not to see him on saturday and i was hopin he wouldn't be there tonight lol

thought we were very unlucky but just like a connor player mentioned in there thread we took the foot of the gas when we went 1-0 up and with 30-35 mins to go its a very risky game to sit back on it.
connor did get a bit of luck 4 the equilizer but they did pile pressure on which lead to the equilizer, if we play like we did tonite we will be hard to beat in the playoffs

Deserving to win games isn't enough lads, far better team last night,
not much luck though.
killing teams off is are biggest problem. we were good all over the park last night but connor took there chances and fair play to them. we are a good squad who play some great football but need to realise the the hard work in games count to.

I am still annoyed at this one lads, not at our team but at our luck and the referee. Thought we were very good tonight every player gave 100% and it showed that they wanted to wear the Shore shirt and get to the final.

For a team that run (part or all) of the marathon on monday the comittment that they put in tonight was 2nd to none.

Kevin Downeys goal is one of the best strikes I have seen in 22 years in the bsml just unfortnate that we didnt win.

Now that we know what we can play like I want us to get our heads back up for the run in of league games and then the play-offs. I am confident that if we play like last night and show the desire that we did that the only 2 teams in the division that could live with us are Connor and Broadway. So lets keep it going lads.

Good luck to Connor in the final and for the run in to the league championship hopefully we will have the chance to get our own back with you next season in division 1.
