Congrat's well done from Dunloy

Id like to give respect to Dunloy this season, winning 19 games out of 22 would in any other year be league winning form. In the end it came down to the 2 games against Westend, the first game of the season where they got beat in the last minute in a 4-3 thriller and then the one down at their place sealed it for Westend, Westends best performance of the season, possibly Dunloys worst.
There is a cup final on Monday night to go and enjoy, a final chance for Dunloy to overcome Westend this season and also a chance for Westend to finish the year with the double. It will be an intriguing specticle and something the 3rd Divison can be proud of
Does anyone know if there is a database or any information on the history of BSML past league and Cup winners thru the years?

If one exists then this is Westends first time at winning the league and is also the 1st Cup final in the clubs history. All I am after is a history of past league and history of past cup winners, somebody is bound to have the details?
Our home form is played 10 won 10. Wakehurst has been good to us

weve played just as many on the homers pitch (the big one in front of the changing room) as the small one I think. We should have played you guys on the homers pitch that day, as I like space to run into behind defenders, we all like space, but the decision was taken to play on the small pitch as we only had one sub that day, the thinking was, small pitch, less running, less injuries, less need for subs There are rumours doing the rounds that we are moving to the showgrounds next year, I hope this aint true as I am a harryville lad and would rather play there, especially when it's obvious that teams dont like coming to wakehurst, the evidence being the 10 wins out of 10, actually it is now 11 out of 11 after last night

I swear, those pitches at wakehurst have serious dips in them, you are running full sprint and take a step and you have dropped half a foot in level and you fall over and everyone thinks you are still drunk from friday night I really hope the council sort the pitches out down there so we can play on flat and level pitches even through the winter months without falling over or playing in a swimming pool We played 1/4 of our season in the month of August, almost 1/3 of the league season was played in August. That is as good a reason as any to have a good pre season and a big squad at that time of year

Good job his kid seemed more interested in the microphone than the football, not a great example set by daddy ;D

to be fair they probably deserved it. Few decent players there that don't remember from earlier in the season. Though we were well short of legs after mondays match and thinking about the crate of beer in the dressing room a bit too much ;D

Though we were well short of legs after mondays match and thinking about the crate of beer in the dressing room a bit too much ;D yous looked shattered from the extra time on mon night. and played like a team who knew they were already champions. yous hammered us earlier in the season and i think it was the same startin 11 (for us) in both matches. thought eddie (left winger who got a hatrick) and stevie scully (central mid) were awesome for us. i think youll do well in the 2nd and deserve to go up as champions. all the best for next season.

I hope you are right! ;D
Irrespective of how we played credits due to you for your attitude. Usually it gets to this stage of the season and games have that 'end of season' feel to them (which we were secretly hoping for!) but you came to win the game.
All the best for next season!
