Go on the wee Connor. Pure buzzing after that. Two magic goals from Mario, best striker in the league by a mile. As for Broadway, the less said about them the better. Bar about 3-4 of there players, they were a disgrace. 4-5 men booked and that was with the ref being generous. Number 16 was only on to kick Campbell, which he did off the ball like a coward 3/4 times, but that's all he could do, only time he got close to him was at corners ;D ;D Good battling performances from us. Sandsy, Norty, White and Campbell were brilliant. Sets up the league game very nicely  Oh and cheers to the big number 8 when I had cramp, about the only decenct fella amongst youse. |

good game at times lads , mario took them 2 goals great , apart from that connor never looked like scoring big norton was my man of the match . big man never missed much wee sandy did great 2. broadway never got goin 2nite , i think they missed big sexton alot 2nite . at the end broadway was getting well wired in , . a game with few chances .... |

watched the game .mario impressed the 1st half but 2nd half was he even still on.he vanished apart from that sitter he put over the bar.didnt live up to the hipe.bryan maybin looked lost upfront way that other striker beside him.your man he played with wasnt fit.i take it there was some1 injured.surley thats not been bryan striking partner this season.good battle in midfield.big norton was outstanding at the back and it showed cos he near got kicked of the park.fair play he got up and got on with it.think the ref forgot his cards tonight.some good hard tackles but some were just straight reds.think the ref lost his balls.fair play to broadway they stuck at it and almost got the leveller.but i think tonight showed who the superior team was.but the league could still have a twist i wouldnt rule broadway out yet in it.were is all the broadway men tonight usually there never off this..

Fair comments Carew, although Mario had fitness test or something at work so he was pure nackered, but you won't see many better goals than that in any league.
As someone said, it was game of few chances, can't think of too many saves that either keeper had to make.

yeah the game was nothing to rave about .kept tight with few chances .but i aint s**tstirring just being honest both teams could do way new goalkeepers for the 1st next year.there was a few tame efforts and the keepers looked a bit ropey.maybe there better just from wot i seen tonight.overall glad i called out to watch it.good luck to both of them

Nicky a far better Keeper IMO. Think Nicky works away alot. Carew your a bit hard of Broadway keeper, didnt think he did anything wrong tonight at all. |

That's his bro playing. Played for Connor Rangers last 2/3 years. Some of the connor lads could probably explain why Nicky doesn't play. Work commitments or something like that i think? |

We didt show up first half and gave Marriot his first the ball should of be cleared but wast and he took it well and his 2nd was just a wonder strike.
Prob a fair result but looking forward to the one that really matters in a couple of weeks.

Think one thing that helped Connor tonight as well was having a week break from their last game whereas Broadway had a hard enough game against us on Monday night. Looked like Connor needed the weeks break cause I think a few of their players were injured before the game even started.
Looked to me as if Brian was really struggling tonight for Broadway with his injury. Im sure Broadway would like to give him a rest but at this point of the season they need to keep winning, and they stand a far better chance when he's planning.
